Our large extended family and friends stopped by yesterday for a few celebratory beverages for our nieces engagement. Chris took GREAT care of us even making the beautiful couple a special shot.

Unplanned stop on our little weekend vacation to Virginia. Zane was our bartender and made our kiddo feel extra special with keeping the mocktails flowing. Pretty awesome of him to cater to not only us, but the little dude as well. 👍
Also—the distillery is led by a woman, so that’s super awesome too!!

Great experience. Stopped in for pre dinner birthday old fashioned and loved them. Alexis made great drinks and was so nice. Can’t wait to stop back! The smores old fashioned and smoked are a MUST TRY!!! The old barrel head smoking process is the most unique I’ve seen in a while. Great job!!!

I stopped in this evening to pick up a last memory of a friend, and a bit extra. This distillery makes the absolute best rye whiskey I've had in my 38 years, and it was enough to make a special trip out from North Carolina. The Honey Rye was his favorite, but the Lucky 13 is amazing as well.

I'll be back, however out of the way it is, not just for memory but because of the quality. And I say this as someone who lived in Nelson County for several years; this is the best thing to come out of this county.

Distillery with a mostly bourbon focus. This is definitely not my jam but they also have vodka and gin for mixed drinks and they have quite a few beyond straight pours. The smoking process is interesting (see pictures). Was not too crowded when we arrived, and they opened up another bar eventually. A good stop but maybe not as pretty as some of the wineries. Really cool seeing the distillation process in action too. Just basic snacks here.
