What a terrific experience with Ann and the team at Valley Road. Engaging and personal - we also shared time with the exec team who happened to be onsite sharing the story of the vineyard team and their recent successes with their award winning wines… Big fan of the Torn Curtain.!.!.!Thanks for a wonderful experience - from your Indiana friends.!

Staff was nice, winery was very nice but $73 for 3 tastings and a glass just prices me and my family out of this place.

Great experience! They charge money to use the fireplaces which was the only bummer.

We came across Valley Road while searching for a wedding venue and boy, are we glad we found them! From the stunning views of the mountains to the dedicated, climate controlled reception and getting ready areas, it was the perfect venue for our wedding. Barb and the rest of the VRV team made sure our day was seamless and accommodated our requests. To top it off, their wine is spectacular, we received many positive reviews from our guests on the wine taste. The venue was also ideal as it has an area to host a rehearsal dinner the night before. We are looking forward to many future visits to Valley Road!

My husband and I got married at Valley Road Vineyards in September and truly had the most incredible experience! From the moment that we reached out with our initial inquiry, Barbara, Stan, and their team were amazingly responsive and ready to help with any questions or needs. Planning with them was truly a seamless progress. The wedding itself was the absolute best day of our lives! The getting ready area was spacious and perfect for our group. The ceremony lawn, photo spots, deck, and reception areas were absolutely gorgeous. We had the most amazing time with our guests and will remember our wedding forever! Everyone was so detail-oriented and ensured that our wedding was exactly as we envisioned. Our guests had amazing things to say about the venue and quality of service, too! Huge thanks to the whole Valley Roads team for the most perfect venue, delicious wine, and incredible support while planning!

Valley Road Vineyards is a wonderful space to visit, with scenic options for photos, indoor and outdoor spaces to relax, several different flights for any taste preference, snacks and pizza options for food, and clean restrooms. Definitely a great place to stop on your tour!

A great place to have your event if you're looking to have a wedding ceremony reception or simply a party. The venue is not too hard to find unlike other locations in the area where you might have to turn into a road that looks like it goes to nowhere and then make other turns into similar roads before you get to the place. This is pretty much located as you see it right off the road. If you're going there for the winery itself, it is very peaceful and quiet and has a nice view of the surrounding hills with plenty of space to roam the property. The tasting room is spacious if you don't feel like sitting outside. I didn't get to try everything this time around, simply their red wine which I really liked. The staff are polite and professional. They are following current COVID guidelines. Recommended.

This is a very nice winery well respected by the locals with a very nice event Center. Much lower key than many of the wineries in the area. They have some pretty good whites and reds.

Stopped in Valley Road this past Sunday after a hike with my boyfriend. When we got there a live band was playing on the side patio so we ordered our flights and went back out to catch some tunes. We shared a white and red flight to do the "full experience." Most were very tasty! I usually am not a fan of Chardonnay but ended up getting a glass after we finished the tasting. Then my guy surprised me with a glass of sparking rosé that we shared as well. It was so nice to sit outside in the sun and enjoy a beautiful day and a good glass of wine. Will definitely be back soon!

If we could rate this place a zero, we would. Came in for the first time to check it out with family from out of town and as we came in one of our cousins took a picture making a silly face with their wine and we went about our day spending time with family, when a very intoxicated woman approached our table, specifically to our cousin who took a silly picture, and started legitimately yelling at him for (direct quote) "taking a retarded picture" because she "has a r******* daughter". Everyone fell silent and for about 5 minutes she proceeded to stumble and repeat herself yelling at not only him, but all of us for making a silly face and none of the staff members did anything to help de-escalate the situation. They all stood back and just watched the whole situation unfold. We finally apologized for her feeling the way she did and we all decided to get up and leave to de-escalate the situation ourselves and she proceeded to follow us out yelling at us, again, extremely intoxicated and repeating the fact that she had a "r******* daughter". It was ABSOLUTELY not anyone's intention to make fun of anyone with a disability, nor do we believe in the use of the label, "r*******". The fact that the staff did nothing but watch us be harassed based on assumptions is unacceptable.

Great winery to visit on a rainy day! Valley Road has a nice view of the some mountains that can be glimpsed from many of their outdoor tables. This winery boasts an expansive set of covered outdoor seating which allows patrons to sip wine outside while being protected from precipitation and from the hot Virginia sun. We found the wine to be comparable to other wineries in the region. From now on, I think Valley Road Vineyards will be our winery of choice in the area when it is raining outside.

As a wedding photographer from out of state who recently shot a wedding here: this winery is absolutely stunning. The location of the barn, getting ready suite, ceremony set-up and vineyards provide gorgeous views all day long. The staff is attentive, knowledgable and made things run so smoothly. They do partner with an event planning service quite often that helped make the wedding day stress free. I would recommend this venue to any couple looking for a beautiful mountain backdrop on their wedding day. I cannot wait to come back and work with this team again!

Beautiful scenery, even on a rainy day. Friendly staff, tried the white flight. The Viogner was my personal favorite, but all very good! Quick and conveniently located.

The staff was very kind and helpful! The view was beautiful and the wines were tasty. I enjoyed my time there!

We enjoyed the wine. Lots of outside places to sit, decks, patios, lawns. Being directly on 151, the passing traffic is a little distracting. View is lovely. We will be back.
