Love the wine tasting at veritas, however we were having second thoughts on getting drinks here. The service deserves 1 star. Getting our tasting from the outside window, the server blew her nose in front of us, didn't bother washing her hands and handed our wine glasses with her hands over the rim of the glasses.

Wow my favorite vineyard so far. We got a fantastic tour with the wine maker Emily and we tasted many wines! So delicious! every sip of wine is precious!

Veritas is always a stop that has to be made when we are in town. My wife and I absolutely love their wines and atmosphere. They produce some of the best wines on the East Coast!

Very much was looking forward to visit the winery since a lot of people recommended it to us but I was sadly very disappointed...the winery is absolutely stunning and even in the pouring rain the beauty of the vineyard can't be hidden. However, the whole experience made me feel like a number in a big commercialized production of the place. I was looking forward to try their wine but tasting experience was far from great. They have preditermined flights and it's a huge minus for me since I prefer to choose the wines I'd like to sample. I am not a white wine drinker at all so automatically 2 of the wines were a waste for me since the flight comes with 2 whites. Additionally, you have to pay for water which I think should come to the table for wine tasting automatically. Worse part is the flight comes with 4 pre-poured drums and 1 (!) glass. I get that COVID made things different and pre measured drums is the thing now but 1 glass for 4 wines is just shows that we really don't care if you can enjoy our wine. The service was ok nothing to write home about.
Update: has free water now but still pretentious. Not friendly service at all.

Enjoyed a nice day at Veritas. Wines were all 5 star, charcuterie board and facilities as well. Will definitely return.
We opted to order from the pickup area and sit in the few tables that are not reserved. There were many reserved tables so reservations may be best if you have a larger crowd. It was just 2 of us so it worked out. We had the almost BLT wrap and the hummus board. Both were great for a light lunch.

DO NOT book a wedding or event here! The communication is horrible. Our representative that we were working with left, we were not notified. It took several attempts to have the new representative answer our emails. When our issue was elevated to upper management we received NO follow up email even after emailing twice.

Our experience today was disappointing. We drove 2 hours for my Mom’s birthday and had sub-par service, non-engaging and when we asked to offer take out at 4:31 we were told the kitchen was closed, no discussion with management about 1 minute over the time and Heidi never asked if we wanted anything else. We moved tables while a storm came in, a server picked up our flight and broke all of it. Upon not cleaning most of the glass up, two dogs came over and we tried to keep them out of the glass. Heidi was agitated that we asked it be cleaned up, minimal effort and pissed at us. So we told the young man who came out and he said you have no idea how much glass is all over this patio and the deck below. With no remorse or care that it could cause harm to anyone, he was clearly pissed to be asked to clean up glass. Really? So I went.inside and asked to talk to a manager after being disrespectful by two employees, and out comes the guy who was already angry with us. When I knew he was the manager, I said nevermind and walked away, he laughed and his staff heard it. The disrespect was awful. And knowing it was my mother’s birthday Heidi came up and announced the bill, was that necessary? Shame on the service today- sub-par at best. Sad. 😔 Won’t be coming back.

A beautiful setting to drink lovely wine. Surprisingly our favorite was the Chardonnay, we don't normally like Chard. The Petite Manseng was delicious too. Cab Franc was very good too. Oh, you can't go wrong here choosing any wine.
