This is insane... in an area frequented by families on vacation this place is not kid friendly. Im saying they told us our kid could not be here. Absolutely idiotic to have a place like this (a house and a barn not some downtown nightclub) that literally does not allow kids. So they put it on the 151 trail and it's not kid friendly. Good luck completing the trail on your vacation if you have a family.

I loved WildManDan Brewery so much!! There’s also a farm house b&b on the property. Both are so well maintained and fun!!! I can’t compliment either high enough. Terri and Dan are amazing- very attentive, genuine, and fun to be around! I had so much fun staying at the b& b and playing games and getting drinks here. Thank you!! Will definitely be back again (:

First and foremost: Great Beer!! The Pilsner is amazing. The vibe here is more than relaxed. Customers all greet you like they have been waiting for you. And Terri is the kind of person who, when you call with a question she has probably heard a 1000 times before calls you back in 10 minutes. Amazing. Small, not corporate, just a couple doing what they like to do. Delightful.

If you want the most unique brew pub experience, WildManDans is a must! From the eclectic decor to the taps housed in an old upright piano, you will be mesmerized the moment you walk in the door. Dan and Terri are the perfect proprietors. The different brews are delightful and you must have a Crowler to go.

We passed this place a dozen times going to visit the grandkids. We finally stopped and we're happy we did.
As nice stop with good beer and food. We had the pilsner and the Irish Red. Good beer.
Housed in an old barn with views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. A nice outdoor patio and a great upstairs loft. They also have rental units on the property.
Dan and his wife were very friendly. We recommend it.

They focus on making extremely good beer in basic styles instead of weird or trendy beer. Personally I like weird and trendy, but it's refreshing to see somebody perfecting the basics for a change. Highly recommend for hobby home brewers.

I can't compliment the farm house b&b or the brewery high enough. Terri and Dan are the real deal. She is an amazing host, bartender, chef and genuine person. So much fun staying and grabbing a beer here. Do NOT drive down 151 without stopping here for a drink and bite.
