Find Mike get a chance to check this place out of a lot of good things about it and I decided to give it a whirl, I ordered the 2 meat platter add two sides mac and cheese and baked beans the Prescott was very moist but very crumbly not in normal strips like normal brisket the St Louis Rams at Great flavor first one was a little tough the next two were very tender I've never had baked beans using three different kinds of beans it was a hodgepodge of black beans baked beans...
Nice place, nice staff. Good food, but not great. The Mac n cheese is definitely nothing to write home about - even my kids didn’t like it. The meat was good (had the pork and the brisket), but I’m not blown away. There are better barbecue places out this way, and even some chains that I’d probably choose before this.
Visited Hammerdown for the first time and I came away very impressed. Hands down my favorite brisket in the area. Delicious bark on the brisket and the ribs were tender and flavorful also. Good customer service also. Highly recommend.
