Would have been 5 stars if they’d had AC! We ended up taking our pizza to the Brewery side.

This used to be one of our favorite winery in the area. They had an adult only house that was a great place to get away from the loud and crowded brewery, but now it's only for private events? So if you don't want to be outside, you're forced to only be in the brewery that's loud and has live music with volume that's not appropriate for conversation. If that's your vibe, then fine but this winery was great because it had the mix of the two (quiet, peaceful area where you can actually hear your friends talk and the lively brewery area where you basically have to shout if live music is playing). We basically only came here because of that wine house, now that it's gone, idk if we'll come back

Food was very good, several beers I tried were also good. Ton of outside seating. Can get noisy in the main room.

We used to be able to bring food into winery. During our last visit we were informed that it was no longer permitted and unfortunately had to discard all our food prepared for our birthday party . I was fine with this new rule until I saw that the staff only did selective enforcement. We observed several other families bringing in coolers and baskets of food walking past staff members who said nothing.
Update : to owners response that food has not been allowed since opening in 2014. We had a farewell here for a coworker in 2024. We brought a cake , chips and dip. We even had a staff member ask if we needed help with anything. So your staff have not been enforcing the no outside food policy . Each time our group visits we usually spend $100 - $200 per couple on beer , wine, pizza and appetizers. We have no problem spending our money at the other wineries and breweries near your location.

I've really missed this place since moving away from the area. It was great to visit again for the last day of the Premier League season. The staff were great, even with our intense team riverly 😉

My colleague and I hosted a client appreciation event here for our real estate clients. Our guests had a fantastic time and it was so nice to have kids and dogs be able to attend. We enjoyed the picnic tables out back. The pizza was delicious, and disappeared almost as quickly as we set it down. The wine was surprisingly tasty and the slushies were popular! We will definitely come back.

Great pizza and beer

Perfect, picturesque winery in the Virginia horse country. Don’t let the name fool you, the beer selection was incredible and the food might have been even better. No better way to spend a sunny spring afternoon than eating a perfectly crispy sicilian pizza with a beer overlooking the natural splendor of Virginia.
