Chicken Burrito was amazing, such a good quantity of food for the price. Guacamole and sour cream, very thick. Rice perfectly cooked. Lovely restaurant atmosphere. Free chips and salsa. Server lady was very sweet and ran after me to remind me I forgot my leftovers. I could not try the happy hour drinks but they looked delicious.

Went in to grab some lunch for take out. Asked for a Carne Asada and Tres Leches Cake. Carne Asada was fine, but all sides that came with the dish were replace without my knowledge. Sadly, the Tres Leche was the most disappointing part as the Tres Leches cake was old and spoil. I have been to this restaurant in the past and generally had great experience. However, I do not forsee going back anymore due to the poor food quality.

The place was spacious and can cater to large groups. They have a bar area and indoor seating available. Apparently, they also have an outdoor area, which I didn’t notice when we visited.
The staff were quick and accommodated us immediately, getting us a seat as soon as we entered the restaurant. We went on a weekday night, so that’s probably why it wasn’t too busy.
All the food and drinks we ordered hit the spot, making us feel like we were back in Texas. The food was great, and we will definitely come back again.

I love this place. It’s hard to find good birria tacos in Alexandria, let alone, Richmond Hwy. And Richmond Hwy spans across provinces and cities in Virginia. The people are great. Whenever Im in the mood for birria tacos, I go here!!!
