We were tired from touring all day and the clerk at Springhill Suites recommended an Italian place “just around the corner”. As we got closer, we could detect delicious smells in the air. As we entered, a cheery staff greeted us, and the cozy space was decorated with lots of photographs and traditional green and white checked tablecloths. We were offered fresh garlic bread while we looked over the menu. We both decided on the “individual” pizza, but let me tell you, us 2 ladies could’ve easily just split one! The veggie pizza was soooo fresh and yummy. If we’re ever in the area again, would definitely go back!
Great Italian food. I have been here maybe 10 times and it gets better each visit.

We did a few days in DC with four young kids. Stopped in one night based on the reviews and really enjoyed everything they had to offer, including the desserts. Super great service too! We actually went back again for dinner the next night too!

They are friendly and charismatic. Not sure how to explain it, somewhat feels like home but at the same time it's a comfortable place to go too get a break from my home. I placed an order online for carry-out and when I arrived everything was ready right on time. The aura was so welcoming I decided to stay and eat instead of rushing home. I took a seat outdoos and planned on eating a few slices with my cappuccino or expresso (I don't know the difference) but I do know it was by far the best coffee product I have ever experienced personally I did add three packets of raw sugar. I highly recommend it. I'm guessing I must have lost track of time... After short quick 2 minutes my pizza disappeared. Okay maybe it was 10 minutes but during that time there was a road crew of 6 workers running a tractor and jackhammers, for that short period it's like they vanished, or I somehow entered a complete state of bliss it was peaceful experience. Wasn't long until I found myself back inside asking to speak to the guy that rang me up... The lady ask me what what is going on is there a problem. I told her yeah... I said I need everyone to know how amazing that was and the only problem is Im gonna need two more of those pizzas. And that coffee cappuccino or expresso whatever it's called. I don't know how they did it but they had two more pizzas cooked and ready to go in under 10 minutes. I was so shocked and told us that how I grew up as a kid McDonald's was the only place I went to eat out, some nights we were lucky enough to get dessert every now and then my dad would show up around 3:00 a.m. speaking foreign languages with leftover pizzas from the local pub. Okay I might have left the part out about the pub pizzas but it's true and we loved it. But I did mention the McDonald's and also I told them about my favorite dinner growing up was Bean sandwiches on plain white bread. This is my first time at Aldo's Italian kitchen. I can't wait to come back and try more. Btw the Tiramisu is fantastic and it goes great with cappuccinos expressos... A win win win situation deciding to stop here!.... The only thing I regret now is giving the construction crew one of my pizzas lol but they definitely deserved it. Also I think my original order came out to around 30 bucks for 1 Pizza, 1 tiramisu, 1 cappuccino-espresso, and 1 chocolate protein shake. It was well worth it
Parking: The location is perfect as to parking it's also quiet and surrounded by beautiful buildings there's a hotel nearby not sure what the parking garages for. There's a lot of buildings stores around. I'm not sure what they're for again this was my first time here and I arrived around dinner time. It's possible it could be more busy during the day that's my guess since there's a parking garage for I believe it said Eisenhower parking garage not sure what that is but anyway the restaurant has its own parking spots for their customers free of charge
Kid-friendliness: Long story short. The people working at restaurant are good at what they do. Very welcoming and friendly. And even as an adult not knowing what certain things were and items. They didn't judge me for being single and close minded. They actually gave me a step-by-step breakdown definition of what's what when I had trouble understanding something. Also the food and service so good give the staff permission to put my kids in timeout if need be.

The wine is a fantastic price, the food is a little spendy but it definitely is good quality and the whole place has good energy! Very authentic traditional Italian vibes, feels like a cafe/restaurant not quite a dress-up place but you can. We did!
The staff were wonderful, thanks so much y'all.
My party greatly enjoyed their food, I didn't love my Bolognese but it was ok.
I would recommend checking it out, they have extensive desserts available on the menu and also to-go containers of Italian and Brooklyn goodies available!

This restaurant was a joy to find. It was like going to your neighbors big kitchen. You know the one who is a great cook and always makes lots of food just in case friends show up.
You're treated like friends from the moment you walk in. The food is great, and the service and atmosphere are like walking into the neighborhood gathering place. Loved it!
