Bad Ass Coffee definitely caters to a flavor profile, but it happens to be mine. The Beach Bliss latte comes with white chocolate and macadamia nut inside and it’s sweet! The Bad Ass One breakfast sandwich was good with the spam and pineapple on a Hawaiian sweet roll. The entire meal came with lots of sugar, but it tasted good.

The space comes with a few tables and restrooms are in the back.

At 9:30am on a Monday, there was a line that moved slowly, but those working were nice.

Not authentic, very expensive.

Overpriced and won’t custom anything because everything is premade. Won’t make a sandwich without meat, or a blended coffee.

If you don’t like the taste of coffee then this is the place for you.
Wife and I ordered a different latte each and there was no coffee taste whatsoever. Where there should be a good balance between the milk/syrups and coffee we only tasted the syrups used for our drinks.

Disappointing.

Good coffee but service could be 100× better. I ordered a pound cake and they told me the oven is off. I asked for my money back and was told that wasn't possible. I went to my office to microwave it and it melted and tasted disgusting.

RUDE employees. First time there to try something new while visiting DC area. Rude employee when I asked that I need room for cream. (Even said I need cream In the coffee). Asked what is good for breakfast that is popular. No answer.
Moving to that area in VA next year. Thanks but no thanks … disappointed and not going back.

So much potential unrealized. Coffee and breakfast today was super-weak coffee / iced tea and haphazardly assembled sandwich. Servers were argumentative and there is extremely limited seating. Won't be back.

I was already sold because the shop was cute and the service was friendly, but then I discovered the coffee tastes great and they use coffee ice cubes!! I wish this place was closer because this would be my new spot.

Coffee/smoothies are really good, sandwiches are small and not seasoned well. Very friendly staff and nice decor

We got the hazelnut hula and three waves lattes. The coffee tasted sooo good. You wont regret it! If I was a local, I would definitely be back

Matcha was not good at all. Definitely do not recommend. Mocha was okay.

Honestly, felt like a Starbucks with a facelift of Hawaiian marketing. The actual cafe has minimal atmosphere in terms of places to sit or enjoy coffee, and the tables are side-by-side with the line of customers. Feels encroaching and they didn’t think through the floor plan. The coffee itself was very basic and not top rung for espresso aficionados (despite being priced that way). The coffee menu has a bunch of confusing items with no pictures / idea of what each contains. The food is pre-made and warmed up like Starbucks. And lastly, service was slow and disorganized. Too pricey for the value.
