I order from here all the time. There cinnamon bagel is what makes this place special. I don't like sweet bagels typically, but the cinnamon bagel is something else. It's almost like a coffee cake. Highly recommend trying it just to mix up your normal bagel order.I was also super impressed by their catering. I hosted a brunch party and order thier "office hero" bundle and it worked out great. It was a farely affordable way to feed a large group. Would definitely order catering from them again.

This place, the outdoor set-up reminded me of Montclair Donuts. Their menu, umph! Is diverse, not only they provide bagels and with a decent selection of cream cheese spread they also provide bagel-wich and vegan options. The staff was great in providing the order quickly. They have an option to order ahead and grab it when you come. My only pet peeve and is very minor, they don't offer coffee to have everything in one spot. I will treat this place as somewhere to go for a breakfast craving to eat bagels on the weekends.

Nestled in the heart of Del Ray, Alexandria, Bagel Uprising stands as a charming venue radiating warmth and flavor in equal measure. With its quaint setting and an abundance of outdoor seating, this spot is perfect for those leisurely weekend mornings where a delightful meal awaits. Although the indoor space is modest, the essence of the place lies in its cozy ambiance and sumptuous offerings. Bagel Uprising excels in providing the perfect grab-and-go options for those seeking to start their weekend on a delicious note. The menu boasts an array of tempting choices, ideal for enjoying at home or on a leisurely stroll through the neighborhood. On a recent visit, I indulged in the everything bagel topped with a delightful combination of egg, sausage, hashbrown, and avocado--an ensemble that sent my taste buds on a delightful journey. Each bite was a harmonious blend of flavors, leaving me thoroughly satisfied. Equally impressive was the garlic bagel adorned with a tangy and refreshing Lemony avocado spread, watercress, radish, pickled radish, tomato, and cucumber. My spouse, who opted for this tantalizing creation, found it both satisfying and filling--a testament to the quality and creativity evident in Bagel Uprising's offerings. What truly sets Bagel Uprising apart is its ability to craft dishes that not only taste divine but also cater to the convenience of its patrons. Whether you're in need of a quick breakfast fix or a savory snack to accompany your neighborhood exploration, Bagel Uprising has you covered. The ease of walking around with their delectable fare adds an extra layer of enjoyment to the entire experience, allowing you to savor every moment amidst the vibrant surroundings of Del Ray. In essence, Bagel Uprising is more than just a place to grab a bite--it's a destination where culinary delights and community vibes converge seamlessly. For anyone in search of a flavorful start to their weekend mornings, this charming gem is undoubtedly worth a visit.

This bagel place had a "hole" lot going on. The bagels themselves are delicious and so well made. I would eat them everyday. They have specifically marked vegan items on the menu which is super helpful. I got the Veg Out and added hummus. So delish! It comes with homemade chips/crisps and a pickle as well. Good deal and great food. Not a lot of indoor seating, but heaps of outdoor seating. I would come back here again for sure.

Nice looking place but my order was all wrong and I didn’t realize it until I was already well gone.I ordered a Smoked Salmon Classic. It says it comes with smoked salmon, red onion, avocado, tomato and a fried egg on a bagel. I said no red onions. What I got was a bagel with salmon that didn’t seemed smoked at all, cream cheese, red onion, and tomatoes. That’s it…..? I may try again and be VERY clear as to what I want on it. I couldn’t finish it as I was put off on what I got. Should’ve noted the guy before me had to read his order back a few times because they kept reading it back wrong to the customer. I also noticed the toppings were outdoing the bagel. It made a mess. Felt like I was eating a sloppy Joe…The guy at the register just taps the screen a few times and you would think your order is correct. Seems to be a disconnect.

Hands down the best bagel I have had to date. Like another reviewer said, the bagel is crunchy on the outside but perfectly chewy on the inside. The chive and scallion cream cheese was great too. Highly recommend!

Bagels do not seem to be boiled and baked. As a former owner of a successful bagelShop in NJ for almost 10 years. They have very small bins on a counter with maybe 6 different bagel flavors. I ordered an everything bagel with scallion cream cheese. They automatically assumed I wanted it toasted. I said no, no toast. A good fresh bagel doesn’t need to be toasted. I also ordered a dozen bagels. I should have paid better attention to their little menu.. no egg and no cinnamon raisin…. Okay. So I substitute with more everything and plain. Even ethic is thrown in a bag including my everything with scallion cream cheese. I immediately regret spending $20 for a dozen bagels that look like donuts. I try to stay optimistic…. I head out to my car a block away as there is nowhere to eat and it’s raining. I open it up anticipating our deliciousness…. However to my disappointment the bagelIs like rubber. Extremely difficult to bite into and break apart barely any cream cheese to actually taste. Unfortunately a huge disappointment. I look into the bag of my $20 bakers dozen and wanted to walk back and return however I decided not to go there. I had a feeling I wasn’t going to get anywhere with that. So I decided to feed the birds. These bagels are far from a real kettle boiled bagel. I was here on business and went out of my way for an amazing bagel. Just goes to show reviews don’t always prove to be accurate and apparently not many people have ever had a real NY kettle boiled bagel made with fresh homemade dough. If people love this! We would rock this town of delray.

Will I come back? Yes!! I was so intrigued by this place even though I'm not a big bagel person! I decided to try the salmon bagel and the peanut butter & banana bagel. I also tried their onion bagel plain and a garlic one as well. Fragrant is the first word that comes to my mind when I think back to my stop here. I will say that both the sandwich bagels were yummy and I had a bit of trouble eating them like a sandwich, they were so slippery lol! There wasn't a long line and the food came out really quickly! The outside has some seating and the smell that smacks you across the face when you walk in is just glorious!!! I took my two additional bagels home and they filled my kitchen-- I would get wafts as I passed by and had to remind myself that they were there. Overall, I enjoyed them and would def be back!!

Wow, this place was a 10/10 all around. We just wanted to grab something quick to eat when landing at DCA. We were not anticipating having the best bagels we have ever had. The service was top tier, the owner was in there and he was on his way out and I watched as he went around to each person working and simply said "thank you".We ordered:Salt Bagel with Cilantro, Jalapeño, Lime Cream Cheese (10/10) - WOW! I'd never heard of a salt bagel, so I'd certainly never had one. I love salt though and I love bagels. Soooo why not?!?! I got my bagel toasted, it was crispy yet soft. How ever they make that bagel they have mastered the technique. The cream cheese gave robust flavors, a little spicy, the freshness of cilantro, and a hint of lime. Delicious!Bacon, Egg, & Cheese on a Poppy Seed Bagel - This was by far the best bacon, egg and cheese bagel I've ever had! The bacon was good quality bacon. It was thick cut with the appropriate amount of fat on it. I'm not sure what kind of cheese they used but it wasn't yellow American and it was appreciated. The bagel itself however, was the highlight of the sandwich. At the risk of sounding repetitive but wanting to really drive the point home, it was crispy at first contact but once you bit in, it was soft and chewy.Cinnamon Bagel with the Seasonal Sweet, Spicy Chai Cream Cheese (10/10) - The bagel again was phenomenal with the perfect hints of cinnamon and not too overwhelming. The Spicy Chai cream cheese took us a couple bites to get used to but once we did it really was amazing. Sweet and spicy notes of chai.

BEST BAGELS!! I'm a bagel connoisseur, literally every day I eat a bagel. After a long arduous search for a delicous unprocessed bagel (including trying to make my own, it's impossible), I found bagel uprising. They are incredible!!! If you're in it for the bagel (and not the cream cheese like my in-laws), this is your place! Every flavor is wonderful. I only wish they had blueberry bagels, but it's probably for the best since I'd likely move in ?

As a native NYer, it's been a struggle to find legit bagels in the DC area. After living in the area for over 12 years, I've finally found my go-to bagel place! I've tried nearly every bagel that Bagel Uprising has to offer and every single one has been amazing. Their bagel schmears are all just as delicious. Their bagels are the perfect size and I love their various bagel creations which aren't over the top. My toddler and I are fans of their pizza bagel.
