They have people who stay with the dogs at all times to keep an eye out on the dogs which was greatly appreciated so you can enjoy your food and not need to worry if you get a bit distracted from your pup. The food was delicious and reasonably priced as well

Horrible customer service. Sent me a text about specials, then when you get there they tell you your dogs shots had expired (without letting you know in advance that your records might need updating) and send you home.

Then 3 hours later, they charge you $9.99 on your credit card hoping you don't notice. (Recommendation: Do not leave any credit cards on file with them.)

There are plenty of other places with better customer service to take your dogs to in the DMV.

Avoid at all costs.

Bark Social has been so awesome for our dog over the last year! The staff has always been so friendly and proactive with communicating with us.

DO NOT SUPPORT. DO NOT GO. PARK SMALL, WORKERS DO NOT WORK SIT ON PHONE ALL DAY! Unfortunately I had the unsatisfactory pleasure of encountering the “general manager Jasmine”. She is horrific and disgusting to say the least. Whole experience repulsive. She first singled out my dog, while the bark ranger was on his phone the entire time. No music playing, no helping with the dogs just standing there. Jasmine comes over ask myself and my dog to leave because he is “over stimulated” while getting in my personal space balling her fist up, threatening me telling she is not from here I can come back when she gets off work, screaming even had the rangers also doing so. Along with standing beside me, not moving telling me “I’ll move when you move” She is, disgraceful and disappointing it is sad we pay money to deal with that. She followed me out the door, saying rude comments and cussing attempting to intimidate me with her threats and body language, and body size. Very inappropriate, talking in a belittling manner, there is absolutely no excuse for her behavior she needs to be not only reprimanded, but stripped of her position ASAP. As well as the ranger who was on his phone not doing anything. I see why they are hiring. She is very rude & has no respect. Also the park is smaller than a backyard. Lastly, when I intended to pull out my phone and record her inappropriateness she immediately went back inside, because she know she was wrong. DO NOT SUPPORT.

First off I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place. Tonight’s was my first time bringing my dog Willow. She is a rescue and was attacked last in another state, so we are extremely cautious when around other dogs. The manager Jasmin personally walked us to the fenced area and stayed with us while she was getting used to the other dogs, easing my anxiety. They also have small treats for your dogs and drinks and food that people can order. Tacos were delicious!

We go to the Bethesda location almost every day but we were in the area and this location made the most sense for us to visit one day with our dog. We love bark social as a business but if you’re looking for the bark social brand this location is not that. It was a ghost town when we showed up and when a bark ranger finally came out to supervise the dogs there was only one ranger, two dogs got in a fight, so she clearly wasn’t equipped to do much. It’s also very tiny and doesn’t have a pool like the other locations. The atmosphere was just very awkward and not fun for us or our dog, especially when somebody came in and started yelling about the dogs spilling her beer on her, but what do you expect at a dog park? We’d come back if the location expanded and maybe management changed, not sure if it’s franchised but this is not the same as the other locations for sure

We came here because it was blazing hot outside, expecting the inside to be available. They don’t tell you it’s not available until the last daycare dog gets picked up. So it was a long drive for nothing.

I cannot lie. The staff were nice about it but their website asked for updated shot records and I'd uploaded, which wasn't good enough for them. Keep this in mind as they don't have manpower to let you know if you need to upload more documents or if you if they need anything else from you. It can easily ruin your plan day or night.

Very cool place with friendly service. Came here for a drag bingo event. Didn't have food, but the drink I had was good. Seems like a cool place to hang with your pup.

Great place to take your dog for some socialization and exercise, while meeting fellow dog lovers in the area. Not a huge space, but decent given their location near D.C. They have a good happy hour and our pup loves the doggie daycamp!

I haven't had the food here yet so can't speak to that, but overall my dog and I love Bark Social! Good drink options, never too many dogs, and the staff are really nice and good at wrangling the pups. It's a great option if you want to hang for a while with a drink, and maybe socialize a bit with other dog parents.

Go to the one in Bethesda. This new Alexandria location is the same size as an Alexandria residential back yard. There’s 600sf tops for dogs to play. Not only that, the bark rangers break up dogs anytime they start barking while playing. There was clearly no aggression present, so I asked if there was a problem with my dog barking. He told me “Yes. The Alexandria City Ordinance mandates that we can’t get over a certain decibel or have continuous barking. The neighbors might call the police.” That blew my mind. I understand them having to be compliant, but if your business’s name is BARK Social, you might consider applying for a waiver or something..
