I wanted to try a breakfast spot that wasn't too far away from Tysons Corner. This place is awesome and has a good menu with good variety of foods. The service was great and the atmosphere great too. I enjoyed the food and the diner experience that was provided.

The Humpty Dumpty Omelet was delicious. Our waitress and waiter were attentive and courteous. I especially appreciated that the waitress brought a chair so I could sit at the end of our booth when I had difficulty negotiating the booth seating. (The restaurant doesn't have separate tables with chairs, if that's an accommodation anyone in your party needs.)

We went in on January 1st 2026 around noon. It was packed! But that’s a good sign. It was a little awkward waiting for a table but other than that the food was delicious! The staff was very friendly and even though it was mobbed in there, they treated us like welcomed guests. Definitely going again

10/10 food quality. Everytime I’ve gone to eat here, I’ve ended up falling into a deep good sleep as soon as I get home. Good portion is amazing, the servers are great, and the food is 10/10. I highly recommend!

WOW! Wonderful diner. Waffles and scrambled eggs were perfect. Creamed Chipped Beef on 2 biscuits and perfect crispy Hashed Browns without compare. Service exceptional.

The perfect place for breakfast or lunch. Not matter what you want. It is all made here are the open oven. The team is perfect. The prices are great. It is good home cooking that cannot go wrong no matter what you want. Try everything and you will be happy. From scrambled eggs and bacon to pancakes or waffles. Even vegan hash was a good meal with fresh made vegetables and cheese over fresh potatoes. It is something that cannot go wrong. And do not forget the coffee. This alone is worth it. Thanks to the team for all their help. It is a place to put on the list whenever you are in town.

My family and I have been going to Barnside diner for years and everything has been great until today October 20. The stupidity of the manager’s decision decided to give a table to another party when my family and I have been waiting for about 30 minutes and the other party had just recently arrived.

After so many years going there I will not return

Helen runs this diner with her sister. Its the best diner on the east coast, hands down. Food is amazing, prices are best in NoVa. Incredible.
