Juan Ramirez and his team, including our server Kevin, made my dad's 80th birthday celebration our best yet! With my dad's birthday falling on Valentine's, I reached out to Bastille months in advance to accommodate our large party - and they were happy to coordinate with me, and made sure our space was accessibility-friendly. We've eaten at Bastille many times, and this meal was extraordinary (cheers chef!)! We all left the table satiated in body and soul. Thanks for a memorable event for our entire family, Juan! We look forward to the next one.

Overall, a very good experience!
I visited during Restaurant Week and chose the $55 menu. The food was excellent and the soupe à l'oignon gratinée starter was perfect.
For my entrée, I selected the Noix de St-Jacques, a delicious truffle risotto topped with exquisitely seared scallops. I only wished there had been more risotto to make the dish more substantial.
The Coupe Mont-Blanc dessert was the star of the show. It was a true masterpiece.
Overall, a thoughtfully executed meal and a casual Restaurant Week experience worth repeating.

We were seating next to a window - which was closed. However, very cold air got thru that window and made the whole experience very uncomfortable for two of my friends. My seat was against a wall, and I was OK. The food was very good and Andres service was excellent, as usual.
We absolutely enjoyed everything about our dinner at Bastille last night! Can't wait to go back! Highly recommend!
Lovely lunch: very good service and a tasty meal. Restaurant week dinner was very nice also.

We came to try the Restaurant Week Menu and it did not disappoint. Every thing was delicious and beautifully presented.
The foi gras night menu was absolutely wonderful. Food was outstanding; it compared with and would hold its own against any French food in the Washington DC metropolitan area. For those who have not dined there, Bastille is a comfy/cozy little restaurant - but is certainly not “elegant” or “pretentious”. The only reason I did not give it a 5, is because people looking for a very formal dining experience won't find that here. The ambience is more rustic and akin to what I might expect in the French countryside or a small street cafe with outdoor seating (but given we were dining in January, outside dining was not a practical option”. I have eaten there several times, and last night's foi gras based menus was as good as anything I have had to date. I highly recommend that people add this to there “go to” French repertoire or inventory of restaurants!!
The service by the waiter Jon could improve. If you're going to ask me if it's my first time dining with you then tell me about the restaurant, tell me what dishes you like and why and tell me what the chef's favorite is and signature dish! When you present my order in front of me, tell me which three fishes are which and don't roll your eyes when I ask about it. Feedback for the chef: when someone orders the GFA option, don't just remove the crostini, give them a mini bok choy to help eat the food (poisson mousse).
Overall really lovely experience. We had multiple courses, food was excellent.
Atmosphere was not what I was expecting but it was still nice. Just expect the dining room to be brighter than you'd expect for the time of night and cost of courses. Not a negative, just a heads up. It was lively, felt like a more casual experience but with really good food. So if that sounds like the vibe you are looking for, great!
Easy to park anywhere around on the week days, probably easy parking at all times actually.
Wine pairings were just okay, nothing exceptional and served a little warmer than ideal for the reds in my opinion.

Food was good overall but the dessert I had ordered was too sweet for my liking and unfortunately there was a draft that everyone at my table could feel. We were sitting in the bar seating area.
Always have a great Zebra Press Holiday Party at Bastille every year and this was another fun one! Thanks Bastille!

Friends from France were visiting. They speak no English. They have never had brunch . They loved it. The hamburger is spectacular.
Amazing restaurant with friendly staff. I had the Pri fix menu with the burger for the main course, and this was easily the best burger I have had in years. The side salad had a perfectly balanced vinaigrette and the fries were great with the house ketchup. My sister had the Duck a la cart, which looked delicious but the plates are too tasty to share even a bite. The old fashion was very well made and the wine recommendation was a perfect match for the duck.
