What a find! We came here because it is the one restaurant in Alexandria with vegan options on the menu. We didn't expect the all around great food or the lovely atmosphere, with quiet classic rock music, big farm style tables, and warm, attentive service. We will be back!

Came in here cause I was HUNGRY. have no idea what this place even called. We read the menu and beeline straight to the host stand. Let me tell you how the crab dip hit the spot, I almost lick the plate, omg. It sounds dramatic, but I kid you not. We also got the shrimp bisque was also another hitter. For main, we had the short ribs pasta and the crab cakes followed by house salad and caesar salad. 10/10 will return again to the more dishes. shoutout to Gema for treating us well!
We just left and the food was ok but we ordered a to go burger and fries and the burger wasn’t done at all it was red and bloody

Wasn’t going to leave a review but I’m very disappointed in the service all around. Celebrated my sisters birthday here and waited about 25 min for a drink. When I asked the server for it she responded with an attitude - not my biggest concern. The next day I realize my card had been charged twice, one charge was correct the other was not. I’ve been calling everyday for almost a week and getting a run around with the managers. 3 different managers have taken down my info and never seem to get a call back! Horrible service.

I celebrated my aunt’s 76th birthday at Blackwall Hitch this past Sunday with about 10 of my family members, and we absolutely loved their brunch! From start to finish, it was an amazing experience. We had the pleasure of meeting the Assistant General Manager, Darnell Gatewood, who was truly exceptional. Our server and every staff member we encountered were professional, attentive, and incredibly accommodating.
The atmosphere, food, and service all exceeded our expectations. I was so impressed that I’ve already made plans to celebrate my mom’s birthday there in January. Highly recommend Blackwall Hitch for any special occasion!

I had such a great time at the Blackwall Hitch buffet brunch! The whole place had an amazing vibe — relaxed but lively — and the live music made the morning feel extra special without overpowering the room.
The buffet was delicious with so many great options. Everything I tried was fresh, well-seasoned, and honestly better than I expected for a brunch buffet. You can really tell they put care into the food.
The service was excellent from start to finish. Everyone was warm and attentive, and I never had to wait long for anything.
A big shout-out to Manager Darnell, who personally stopped by my table to make sure everything was perfect. That small gesture made the experience feel so personal and genuinely appreciated.
