The fact that the owners of the strip mall increased the rent and were unwilling to negotiate with Boardwalk to find a way for them to stay here is an embarrassment. Best burgers and shakes in Alexandria right here in this neighborhood, and they got driven out. I'm sure the Subway or nail salon or whatever takes its place will be super awesome.

I haven't been to Boardwalk Fries in roughly two years, but when they announced that they'd be closing up this location at the end of this month, I knew I had to pay one more visit. Thankfully, their doors are only closing temporarily; they'll be back up and running on 1033 W Glebe Road as a ghost kitchen in March. The food doesn't blow me away, but it's consistent and they have deals every day of the week. So while I'll miss dining in, at least they're not completely going away.

I got a bbq bacon cheese burger and boardwalk classic burger with boardwalk fries. It was so good it make you wanna slap your momma. 4/5 i would recommend.... Ps fries need a lil more salt

A step down from 5 guys. Meat Patties just didn't have as much flavor. You can taste the different quality of meat. Fries were too flimsy. I though the bun was too flaky. Bacon was underwhelming.

I'm surprised that there are so many negative reviews for Boardwalk. My experience was great.I ordered via Uber Eats. The food was ready quickly and it was fresh. The burger and the fries tasted great. It's more expensive than a traditional takeout restaurant, but the quality is superior to that of McDonald's, Burger King, etc. The icing on the cake was the extra fries that the employees threw in at the bottom of the bag. I ordered a small and was surprised to see more fries than I thought a small fry order contained. The fries were awesome, so this was a pleasant surprise.There are a lot of options on the menu to choose from, so I'll definitely be back. My burger was a bit small for me after a long day of exercise and activity, so next time I know to choose an extra patty.Parking: There's plenty of parking.

The fried are amazing. The burgers and chicken tenders are good, but for the price, I'd go to a burger place like 5 Guys or something.The milkshakes are also amazing and I'd go just for them and some fries.

Everyone, THIS is where you come to have a delicious and I mean DELICIOUS cheese steak. I’ve been going to this place for years now, will happily travel 40 minutes to an hour just to eat their cheese steak and fries. Top tier cheese steak.

Drove by in the morning, wife said lunch on way home. Bright & airy, clean dining area with plenty of seating. Friendly enough staff, was going to do burgers, but it was 1/2 price Cheese-Steak day so rolled with one of each. Food was served hot, fries were delicious (way more than expected) - nicely seasoned. The Cheese-Steak was pretty good, nice flavor & plenty of meat. The Hamburger was average, not as good as expected based on the Awards. It was not bad, but not great. Might be back for 1/2 price Cheese-Steaks & fries.

As a "first time customer" I was unimpressed about the fries and cheesesteak.. I noticed that they had "precooked" meat on the grill.. and the French fries were incredibly greasy.. the place was very clean and the employees were very cordial

I like Boardwalk Fries. Food is always good, place is clean, friendly service. A bit pricey comparatively speaking to other fast food restaurants. Daily specials, however. Suggestions: Sometimes it seems like they make it hard to enjoy the food. - Cut the subs in half - Put a bottle of Malt Vinegar out rather than pre-filled cups. - Ketchup dispenser instead of ketchup packets - Salt and pepper shakers rather than packets. - Put fries in a cup like they do at the boardwalk. - Shouldn't have to ask for hot peppers on a sub once you already ask for everything.
