Bob & Edith's has become my go-to breakfast spot in DC-MD-VA region after tagging along with my friend four times—it's his absolute favorite, and I get why.

This 24/7 classic diner nails that nostalgic Americana vibe with retro booths, quick service, and huge portions of homestyle comfort food that hit the spot every time.

We always order their beef steak meal, and it's spot-on every visit: tender, flavorful, grilled just right. It comes paired with eggs and potatoes the way you want them done. It's hearty diner perfection that keeps us coming back. The steak comes out satisfying without putting a hole in my wallet.

Pancakes are solid too if you're mixing it up, but the beef steak is our unwavering pick.

Friendly staff, no frills, just classic Arlington breakfast goodness. Highly recommend!

Open 24 hours is a life saver for those who work swing shifts. I love that I can have bacon and eggs with home fries any time of day. Great food and great service.

I’m righting this review because the service was terrible. I sat down and no one came to service me for a couple of minutes. I understand that there was a large party but that’s a one off sometimes. I recommend focus on the people you don’t notice on a regular. I don’t know why I ended up here but it’s done. I’ll never recommend people to come here.

What a pleasure to eat at Bob & Edith's Diner on N. Kings Highway!

My server today was Lindsay. She was quick, efficient, and had a natural smile that was warm and welcoming.

I ordered the two eggs with corned beef hash. Food was good and I would definitely recommend that. I had the hash browns smothered with sausage gravy. Had a cup of coffee that I never saw the bottom of the cup because it was constantly refilled by Lindsay.

I would highly recommend this place to any and everybody. Make sure
that you ask for Lindsay and she will make sure that you have the best service in Alexandria.

If I could rate this more than five stars, I definitely would!

I've been coming to this Bob & Edith's since about October/November last year. Post drink dosh, you know? Anyway, there's two things that makes this place extraordinary:

1. The vanilla milkshakes
2. Megan

The milkshakes are to die for. I'd even eat them sober. They're better than IHOP's milkshakes, and that's hard to do,

Even better is Megan. She remembered my friends after we came here twice, including our names. She really is the epitome of service with a smile. She really puts the hospitality in Southern hospitality, even though we're only a stone's throw from Satan's Waiting Room (DC).

The food is everything I’m looking for I love all this classic diner food It doesn’t matter if I come in at three in the morning or 8 AM or anything they are always here always great food always reliable I’m so glad they’re in my neighborhood

Went here during a road trip. They fully forgot my one friend’s meal, my other friend ordered French toast and it was very bad, and they served me an uncooked steak. Attached is the “medium” steak

I ordered the Two egg & Bacon breakfast (eggs SCRAMBLED WITH cheese) but was given a flat egg crepe with two slices of cheese on the top.
The server was extremely friendly and asked the chef to fix the order but the food was given backt to me with the flat egg and chees slices chopped up. My partner ordered a sausage omelet which was a thin layer of egg wrapped around almost a half of a cup of onions and green peppers. The chef obviously does not care. The esthetic is a drag. The tables look dirty and the plastic cups look like they are from the 90's. Better off going to Ihop 6 minutes away from here.
