I attempted to order a chicken sandwich, a cheeseburger, and a hotdog with cheese fries and two lemonades. The total came to about $60. I placed this order online from their website. I arrived in the restaurant about 5 min early and waited patiently. I overheard another customer explaining that the order they were handed was incorrect and it sounded like my order. I asked the gentleman at the counter if it could be mine as I placed a pickup order. He dismissed me by waiving his hand at me and went about creating the other ladies order. Two other groups were served (who arrived and placed in store orders after me). After all orders were served, the cook asked me if I placed an order, to which I replied yes a pickup order for my name. She said oh, this has been ready for a while. It was sitting in the back, not under a heat lamp, the whole time I was in the store. I waited for over 17 min for them to try to give me food that was ready when I got there. I asked for a refund and the gentleman at the counter said it was automatically processed. I requested a receipt of the refund and he proceeded to take a phone call and help another customer. I finally got a receipt and asked why he didn't just give me my order when I asked about it to which he replied that things were busy and hectic. I will never try this place again.

Delicious burger. Saucy to the max! I think big buns has better burgers. The service needs some work.. online you are able to order a burger with no fries but in person the server said he can't remove the fries from my order. I did not stay for the ambiance... this location was to order to go

Ordered the classic burger. An embarrassment of condiments hide something which is not readily distinguishable as beef, having no beef flavor. If you want to pay 13 dollars for something that is mostly lettuce, tomato, ketchup and mayo, by all means fork over your hard earned cash. Onions, which were advertised as included, were lost in the condiment tsunami, and if eaten were entirely tasteless. Would have given one star but for the excellence of the brioche bun. But after all, this joint is a bakery in the morning; better have good bread, right? Will not be a repeat customer.

Got the chance to try Bun Papa out at a recent Wizards game (they're located by section 216 for the 2023-24 season) and was blown away by how great the food was, particularly given how hard it is to serve up hot, fresh food at a stadium that holds thousands. (Well, it's the Wizards, so more like dozens.) The Papa Poutine, a mass of waffle fries covered with gravy, ground beef, cheese curds, green onions and onion straws, was absolutely fantastic, an epic combination of rich flavors that looked amazing and tasted even better. It's a standout, as it's the only thing I've ever ordered at a stadium and had multiple people ask me where they could get it. I was so impressed that I came back another time to try the Big Papa Deluxe burger, which was also very good. The two patties were cooked well, still very juicy and well-seasoned, with super fresh, flavorful pickles, a solid secret sauce, all served up on a notably tasty grilled brioche bun. The rest of the menu looks fantastic as well, and definitely looking forward to trying more soon!

This is an interesting place. It's a bakery that becomes a burger joint after 4 or 5 pm. Me and a friend stopped in craving burgers, and while I wasn't disappointed, I wasn't blown away either. I found the price to be high for what I received. I'll give it another shot if I'm nearby craving burgers and give an update. then. The service is good but expect to eat outside FYI.

Crispy onions were so hard they were literally like rocks. Had to throw the entire order of poutine in the trash as it was inedible because of it. Bizarre.

Overall, my experience at Bun Papa was okay.It can be a bit confusing when you walk in. I wasn't sure where to go to retrieve my order. There was one guy working both the coffee counter and the kitchen. There were two other employees in the back, but they didn't seem to be doing anything. They didn't acknowledge any of the customers. I stood around for five minutes before the employee switching back and forth from the coffee bar to the kitchen acknowledged me. He was very nice, but he was doing everything himself. The burger was outstanding. The bun tasted good, but I don't think it was fresh. That said, it was still better than a regular bun that you'd get from a fast food restaurant and most other restaurants I've tried. My only knock against the burger was how much lettuce was on it. The lettuce made it very difficult to eat without adding any value to the burger. I'd definitely try one of their burgers again, but I'd avoid the lettuce. The poutine had a lot of potential but wasn't executed well. The fries tasted stale, the onion strings tasted stale, there was barely any gravy, and the cheese curds weren't hot. In summary, the poutine tasted old, like they had used old, stale fries that they didn't want to throw away. I just finished living across from the Canadian border for three years where poutine is a staple, so I feel like I can speak well on poutine. Poutine is supposed to be hot and fresh, and the cheese curds are supposed to be somewhat melted (or hot at a minimum). I think if they had used fresh ingredients and ensured that the dish was hot when they served it, the poutine would've been excellent. I was in the restaurant when they finished bagging my order. The only thing I can think is that they finished cooking the poutine early and let it sit before they finished my entire order.I'd definitely try one of their burgers again. I'd probably order only a burger so that I could ensure that my entire order is made at the same time and served fresh. I don't think I'd try any of their dishes with French fries again.

I tried this place on a lark with an Uber Eats promotion, and I am glad I did. I haven’t had a burger with such fresh ingredients in a very long time. Reminds me of burgers I used to get from a place in San Diego 2 decades ago that tasted like everything had been clipped from a garden moments before.I’d go on, but the best thing you can do is try it for yourself and see if my experience lines up.

Bare hands on food. In the back where the soups and other things made, no hair nets, no gloves.

I'm not a burger person but my family loves burgers!Read somewhere that they were voted best burger in nova/alexandria and it was nearby.Ordered an avocado burger which has avocado, pickled onions, cilantro and salsa....looked it!The boys ordered roadhouse burgers which had bacon, pickled onions and bbq sauce. They really liked it.Waffle fries were seasoned well and we asked for spicy ketchup which gave it a nice little kick.My son also ordered the poutine and said it was good!We also ordered chicken sandwiches which they said was good but nothing exceptional.

I've been a few times now, and it's normally pretty good. I do recommend it, but I'm also not sure what happened with my burger the last time. The chicken sandwich is good, and the burgers are pretty good. However, I ordered the Roadhouse burger and after eating it, I'm not sure what they made it with. It's supposed to have fried onions on it...yeah, that wasn't on it at all. I'm not exactly sure what I ate, but they weren't onions. It's like they had some old fries sitting around, they chopped them up, fried them again, and put them on top. I have no idea...could have been double fried air for all I know. I did still eat it, and I didn't get sick...so there is that. ‍In the past it's been good, but maybe late afternoon isn't the time to purchase a burger.
