The food selections and the service were above excellent, but it's the spectacle views that will amaze you. Brunch hours are until 4 on Saturday and 5pm on Sunday. It's a hidden gem but if you find it, you'll be in for a great experience.
Parking garage that you must pay, is difficult to use the pay kiosks. Lost my credit card! Beware Recently the service has changed. Come many times but the staff is overwhelmed and challenged to serve you. Be prepared to wait awhile
How I wish I had asked to sit outside as it would have been so much quieter out there. I have been to Jula's (and Cafe44 ) many times, and have always enjoyed the experience. This time was different. The noise was so loud that we had to shout all evening to each other to be heard. Sadly, we will be reluctant to return.
Favorite place in the NCR. Always on point. Great view. Great menu. Great cocktails. Attentive staff. Great value.
Great service on a busy Sunday brunch. Wait staff was a little overwhelmed at times. Food was good but not exceptional in any way or comparable to previous experiences.
Ate outside on the terrace. Menu online for terrace was not menu we were given. For some reason Julas only does small plates on the terrace and our party was very surprised. Very odd for dinner time and a party of 4. Menu wording was also confusing. Drink tasting menu states $40 serves 2 with 4 options, but server said we had to pay $40 each and pick one. Unnecessarily confusing. Lamb and filet were overcooked. Outdoors there were many spiders on the ceiling spinning webs and bugs. Does not put you in mood to eat. Highlight was service and nice location, shame it fell short on some seriously easy controllable elements of a restaurant. Three stars is generous.
Cool resto with great staff. Lovely views of the river. I love sitting at the bar to watch the bartenders perform magic.
Food was excellent. It is a tapas menu so will be expensive if you expect to fill up but it's high quality and you'll be left satisfied. Love the outdoor seating on a nice day, only drawback is servers do not seem to check in as frequently compared to the inside.
Our regular place to relax and have lunch with friends while not feeling rushed or ignored. Staff is great and the food is delicious making each time a memorable experience.
From the moment we walked in, the ambiance was inviting and the service impeccable. Each dish was thoughtfully prepared—bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. Whether you're craving comfort or something a bit more refined, this spot delivers with charm and consistency. Can't wait to return!

Good and service excellent. Inside, louder than comfortable; outside, planes can be very loud.
I love the atmosphere at Jula's. We always pick the balcony for the view. This was my third visit but first for brunch. My friend ordered the salmon and grits, while had the shrimp and grits. We both enjoyed an Aperol spritz. Service was great, and waiter comped me my espresso because it was my birthday.
Food was excellent. Service was OK though on the slow side. Views over the river were of course splendid. Wooden floor and ceiling meant there was a lot of ambient noise.
A lovely meal with an awesome view of the Potomac. My shrimp and grits were excellent, savory shrimp and creamy white cheddar grits. The deviled eggs were also very tasty.
We visited Jula's on the Potomac to have brunch after celebrating our anniversary. The hosts were warm, friendly, and immediately took us to our table. The restaurant is beautiful with natural light, and we loved being able to see the water from the dining area. Our waiter was attentive and personable. The food was excellent. I had the Lorraine Quiche and my husband had the Salmon and Grits. The quiche was so fluffy, hot and delicious. We absolutely loved the biscuits and had a second order. Everything was great and we will be back. My sister recommended after visiting from Suffolk, VA. We are in Stafford. The food and experience is worth the hour drive. Thank you!
