I had been hearing about the restaurant and how wonderful it was. It was better than I expected, and it will now be a regular place for me not only for brunch, but for any meal. I can't wait till the spring to be able to sit outside! I think everyone from the time we walked in the door until we time we walked out for their kindness and professionalism.

Great overall experience. I went with a group of 6. Ages 34 to 60 and everyone loved their food.

Great service, great food and the ambience was impeccable. The tiramisu espresso martini is a must try.

Service just gets worse and worse. Being short staffed and no management in sight until they came by to apologize for drinks taking 30+ mins.

It was a good experience. The food was better. I said I wouldn't go back but my food experience wasn't bad. My friends liked theirs as well.

Last minute decision for brunch. They had a table and wow. Was awesome start to finish. Wished I would've dressed up more we were out shopping. Truly is fine dining and will go back. Tip top

The food was great however the only concerned I had was how long it took them to take my order other than that everything was beautiful

I went to Jula's on the Potomac for brunch to celebrate a friend's birthday, and we had such a great time. I got the shrimp and grits— a tasty dish :) . My friends ordered avocado toast, salmon and grits, a Croque Madame, Belgian waffles, and of course plenty of mimosas. Everything we tried was delicious. The vibe was perfect too. The view overlooking Old Town Alexandria and the Potomac was gorgeous on a fall afternoon and made the whole meal feel extra special. Overall, everything was delicious, the service was warm, and the setting was beautiful. I'll definitely be returning!

Overall experience was good. The noise level was too loud. We sat at a table for six and could hardly hear each other. The ambience of the restaurant was nice. It was a little cold inside the restaurant. I'm sure during the spring and summer, it's probably picture perfect to see the water while dining. Our server, Q, was on point the whole nigjt. My order came out and a portion of it was missing. They had to take my plate back while everyone else was able to eat. Another person's meal was undercooked. Management came out and apologized for this mishap and the meal was replaced and taken off their bill. No apology was given to me for having to wait extra for my food. I need to go again to see if this was just an off night. Especially, for the amount of money I spent.

Great experience at Jula's! I read a positive review on Threads and decided to make a reservation for brunch over the weekend. It's in the heart of Alexandria right next to the Potomac River! Great views if you come a good weather day. Our server was prompt, our food came quickly, and everything tasted amazing! I didn't get a chance to take a picture of the biscuits, but those were a great starter. All the food was flavorful! Would love to come back to try a different item on the menu. A lot of peoples food around us looked tasty!

Made Reservations For 3 The Day Of For Breakfast. Was Seated Almost Immediately. Our Waiter Sam Was Amazing . Garden Truffle Flat Bread & Burrata For Apps. I Got The Chicken & Waffles With Potatoes & Eggs. My Friends Got the Bread Pudding French Toast With Eggs , Turkey Sausage & The Waffles With Potatoes & Turkey Sausage. Everything Was Well Seasoned. A Tad Bit Salty But Very Good. Dessert Was The Key Lime Pie & The Cheesecake

Great lunch value for express lunches. My lobster bisque was just fair and served cold and the flavor bland.

It can be a little noisy with the flights coming overhead, but they don't fly over very often. And the views and ambience is just the best. I love that. It's a little bit off the beaten path so your walk after dinner is just wonderful right by the water. I had the shrimp and persimmon salad, and it was literally perfect.

Had a wonderful experience. Service was beyond excellent, waiter were very attentive to your needs and were always one step ahead. Great advice on food recommendations and needs of customers. Every dish we tried was spectacular! It was definitely the best restaurant we visited in Alexandria and we will make a point to always come back here when in town. Nico was top notch! Great job Julia! Our family can't wait till our next visit.
