Great little coffee shop and small grocery to boot. Nice to sit outside on a nice day.

My son and his soccer carpool practice at nearby Breneman Park 3x a week. At least 1-2x a week, I hit up Cameron Cafe for an iced coffee while I work in the cafe while my carpool practices or if I have my younger son, to get a smoothie or hot chocolate. Ms. LemLem and the other staff are so friendly and welcoming. The best part about this cafe is that it brings together community. There are people of all ages, from the infants with their caregivers or families to the school children to people working or socializing to the senior adults in the neighborhood. My son notices the diversity of the patrons and how they are all friendly and know each other by name. Ms. LemLem knows my son's order and is so nice to him, making him feel like a big deal for a special treat. They have a nice selection of pastries, grab and go or hot sandwiches, drinks, beer and wine and specialty coffee infused cocktails. Since I am working and driving kids, I stick to my iced coffee. There is great places to sit and chat inside (cafe tables, high tops, couches) and on the sidewalk patio (Adirondack high top chairs, picnic benches cafes). The restrooms are available and clean and the there is always a big group inside after work and school. There needs to be more spaces like this in the city of Alexandria!

I really want to like this place. It's cute, thoughtfully decorated, bikeable, open in the evening, clearly a neighborhood gathering spot, and the staff are friendly. But the cortado I'm drinking now - not listed on the menu, but the barista said they make one (hence the cortado-sized glasses) - is weak and thin. The foam is wispy and it's not clear this is a double shot, as the barista specifically told me it was. The menu is full of sugary drinks, so maybe that's why people keep coming back. Maybe the coffee cocktails are better, but I won't go out of my way for this place again. The loud squeaky front door is also really distracting - someone comes in or out at least every minute.

Kid-friendliness: lots of kids running around

Wheelchair accessibility: easy to get in the door if someone holds open, a little tight around corners

My favorite place in the city to have a Salmon Bagel. The people, the comfy, relaxed atmosphere... chef's kiss.

The frappes and lattes here are truly the best I’ve ever had! I visited with friends, and we had an amazing time. The atmosphere was perfect, and the owner made the experience even better with their warm and welcoming hospitality.

Nice little coffee located at a very calm area. The matcha latte was very good! Prices are okay.

Quiet little Cafe with plenty of space. There's some street parking and it's right next to the park, they have a wide variety of drinks and my friend and I came here to work for a couple hours. The food was pretty good as well and we would love to come back and try their coffee cocktails.

Yall I had to write a review bcs it was that good. I got the tuna sandwich and it was the best tuna sandwich I’ve ever had fr. The service was good, such a nice cashier, and the atmosphere is so cute and cozy. It’s also in a beautiful area too, with some walking paths next to it and chairs outside too. When I moved into the neighbourhood 2 years ago, it was mostly the owners running the orders. That was pleasant. Adding spices to the sandwiches wasn't a big ask. I know I have a peculiar taste for coffee so I won't fault them for that.
There are big intervals between when I get to go there as I am abroad regularly for extended periods. Whoever got hired to run the orders now has a massive case of RBF, never greets, not the slightest hint of turning a coffee run into a pleasant experience.

I much rather give my money to corporate coffee places that care a bit more about your experience than sponsoring a salty, long face employee.

An employee insisted on charging the same price for a cup of hot water as for a cup of tea. They further commented that bringing your own coffee to a coffee shop is considered rude, suggesting that purchasing food alongside wasn't sufficient to warrant receiving hot water in a cup.

This is a fantastic neighborhood cafe. Limited food menu, though all delicious. Solid drink options, even without considering cocktails. Outstanding service, the staff is friendly and helpful.
