Pros: Food is incredible Quick and responsive staff Great place for an intimate night Cons: It can get crowded and tight The vegan banh mi doesn’t come with much vegetarian chicken meat Most people I noticed placed a to go order as to avoid the packed evening
I love this place and think it’s the best in old town! They are very clean, service is fast and the food is tasty and fresh! They received 4-stars for atmosphere, only because it is small and people tend to be loud and can get a little loud/noisy. I highly recommend this little hidden gem hands down.

This is the best Vietnamese restaurant in Old Town! I love it! The Bahn Mi is particularly good and my friend couldn't stop raving about the Pho. Highly recommend!!!

Everything on the menu has a vegan version and it’s all very tasty. I wish they had options without the soy chicken though, as I’m not a fan of fake meat.
This place is great. A+ pho 🤤

Very good Pho! Flavorful broth, good portions, and friendly staff. One of my new go-to places for Pho around Alexandria/Springfield

Quiet gem on Cameron Street only steps away from main King Street in Old Town ALX. Amazing fresh food! The Banh Mi's are incredible. The bread is super fresh.

Be sure to check your to go order before you leave. I was given a Bahn Mi sandwich with bread and meat and nothing else. A frustrating thing to discover when you get back to the office with your lunch
I come here when I am craving something tasty and relatively healthy. I usually order one of their banh mi sandwiches and they are consistently excellent especially in comparison with other banh mi I've had in the DMV area. They use high quality ingredients and have a delicious flavor. This place is one of my favorite in Old Town. And on top of that it's really affordable.

Terrible vegetarian 'Imperial' roll - absolutely no flavor and full of oil. French bread used for the sandwiches is very good. We were not impressed by the pho. Especially after we observed 1 waiter clearing a table and taking the bean sprouts and basil from the finished table back to the service station. Then giving the same plate of partially used bean sprouts and basil to a new table.
Yes. Your patrons CAN and DO see your actions going on behind the register.
If you wish to cut costs why not ask the non-Asians if they would like the garnish or not? Or giving a smaller garnish portion. Why risk endangering the health of your diners?
People they're giving you food from other tables. This is sub-standard and for obvious reasons dangerous. If the male staff and male manager feel comfortable enough to do this in front of diners - just imagine what's going on in the kitchen where thankfully patrons cannot get a good view.
The chopsticks look bad. I have never ever seen re-usable non-laquered wooden chopsticks at any Asian restaurant in the DC area, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Philadelphia, Philippines, Indonesia, Hong Kong or China.
Our friend loves this place but we were seriously underwhelmed and concerned about sanitation. Yes it's inexpensive but you definitely get what you pay for. And that could very well be a trip to the hospital.
Unfriendly signs on exterior door are completely unnecessary and unprofessional. But they do clue you in on the rude service style of at least 1 of the employees.
Neither my husband nor I have any desire to return. So many other excellent clean friendly Pho places in NOVA it's ridiculous to give this dirty rude joint any business.
Lol. Non-Asians think this dirty place has great food!? It's a hidden germ, not a hidden gem!

I can tell they use older meat to make their bahn mis. Go somewhere else. The food is not good at all, and a waste of money. I wish I had asked for a refund. 🫤 I can make a better Bahn Mi in my kitchen. **Edit: The owner replied to my review recently claiming it was my fault for the lousy food. If you look at other bad reviews people have written this is clearly a pattern.
The Best Restaurant I have tried since I arrived to DC.

It’s almost good, but not. The meat and broth tastes like sugary liquid smoke.
Starving after a day of travel and couldn’t even stomach finishing the meat. 😩
