Not great. Went for Valentine's Day. Thought the entertainment would be Jazz but it was acoustic guitar and not Jazz. The lady was not good. Kept talking instead of entertaining and made many mistakes. Unprofessional. Not sure why y'all keep inviting her back every Valentine's Day. The server was inexperienced and raw. Food took too long to rotate around even thought we came on time. The decor is noticeably fake or cheap. The only thing decent was the food. But that is just decent. Drinks sucked as well. Very over priced for the occasion. Got to do better.

My husband and I had a fabulous time at the Carlyle Club. It was so fun to get dressed up and go to an elegant club. The show was the Rat Pack and they were great! We bought seats in the bar. Will definitely be back.

Been going there for 9 nine years. Booked 2 tickets for a show Sunday December 15, 2019. Sister-in-law decided she wanted to go. So I called 4 times this week and left messages for the club to return my call since they DO NOT answer the phone during the business day. Needed their help in getting a table for the three of us. These people didn't even bother to call back! After 9 years of attendance! But wait, it gets worse - went to the show Sunday afternoon and lost my scarf in the lobby of the club. Got home and called and left a message to call me back re: my lost item. Now mind you, I called 30 minutes after leaving the club! It's the next night and guess what. They haven't called back. I don't get it. This is a multi-million business and they don't answer their phone or bother to a good customer back. If the customer service at an establishment isn't good, then the establishment isn't good

Traveled to Alexandria for a holiday party with colleagues. The venue was perfect for the event -- a 20s style theme party. There was a wonderful bar area with food and apps, an area for gambling (no real $ of course), a dance floor and a lovely area for seating with plenty of comfortable and beautifully decorated tables. The service was outstanding (carving station, bartenders, coat area, DJs, parking attendants), the food was delicious, the place (including the bathroom) was pristine. I really didn't find one thing that needed improvement. Would love to be invited to another event here ... it was worth the 45 min drive.

I and two girlfriends reserved a table to see The Golden Girlz. The venue is breathtaking, just beautiful. The food was very good. The entertainment was HORRIBLE, amateur at best! We were so disappointed we left after having our dinner. I've seen better at a middle school play. It's a shame we couldn't get our money back, we just have to take it as a loss.

We heard that The Rat Pack would be entertaining at the Carlyle Club and went to hear them. It's a very nice venue with comfortable chairs and good view of the stage for all tables, and we had a fun evening. The service was good, but the price is high -- both for tickets and food -- and neither of us felt too well that evening. I guess our shrimp and grits didn't "sit well". We will try it again, though, and order something else. Parking is cheap in the garage around the corner. We paid $7 for the evening.
When we arrived we were greeted by a nice girl and taken to our seats. The ambiance was lovely. Then our waiter asked what we would like to drink and what appetizer...we ordered, then our waiter asked if we would like our appetizer and drinks to come together or one before the other (huh?), we said it didn't matter whatever he thought...our appetizers and drinks arrived together and both were great. THEN, an hour and 15 minutes later our main dishes came out. The steak was very bad quality; about a 1/4 inch thick, chewy, and really fatty. The crab cakes were not cooked all the way and did not have big chunks of crab. It was more like chewy crabby biscuits, yuk! Our side item was mashed red potatoes and they were just horrible...maybe made the night before and served cold. 1/2 way through our main dish we ordered another drink, and the drinks finally arrived after desert...very disappointing. Also, our waiter never cleared our dirty dishes between courses and not once asked if anything tasted okay. When we asked the girl serving the food to us to please clear the dirty dishes she snapped 'I WILL, give me a minute!'. It was such a bad experience. We will not be back.

Overall our experience at the Carlyle Club was very good. The food was excellent, we were seated in a timely fashion and our food came out quickly and was well prepared. The band was playing some very nice jazz music and the noise level wasn't too high. Overall a great place for a romantic dinner with a special someone. The only complaint was with the server. While very nice he was quite forgetful, I never received a refill of my water glass even though I asked twice and served desert without silverware so we had to stare at it a while before we could eat it.

Had an excellent meal and enjoyed live music. Very much like an old nightclub experience. Nothing like it in the DC area. Will definitely come back.

This was my first time at this restaurant and absolutely love it. Service was very friendly and food was great. Having live music was an added bonus. We ordered the filet and the lamb – both were cooked as ordered and both very tasty. The lobster bisque is to die for.

Dinner was yummy but the highlight was the live music. We all enjoyed our dinners, crab cakes and lobster bisque. A perfect ending was the key lime pie!! We had a very nice gentleman playing piano, taking requests and very receptive to playing all kinds of music. Enjoying live music while we ate was really fun!! We will be back!!
