The servings are SIGNIFICANTLY smaller than the Cava down the street at Kingstowne especially if you order online. The food isn’t great, they don’t cook the sweet potatoes all the way through like other locations so you end up with hard potatoes. I had half falafel for my meat portion and I kid you not, I had a SINGLE falafel in my bowl. I couldn’t even finish the bowl between the clumpy old rice, hard sweet potatoes, and a single falafel ball. Just so bad; I wish I read a warning like this before I went so I didn’t waste my time and just went down the street to Kingstowne instead.

Food was tasty, but my wrap was made too hasty. I don't know if my wrap was too full, but it didn't stay together. It was next to impossible to eat while holding. I used a lot of napkins. There were only two people in line behind me. I don't understand why the staff was rushing.My lunch companions claimed to see a mouse scamper across the floor near the entrance
Amazing customer service. Food is prepared and served fresh. Very healthy ingredients. Great balance of healthy and comfort food. Very clean and well maintained. Will definitely be coming back to this location!! :)

Great place very clean the food on the counter look so fresh even I was placing order after 3 pm, I tried the new balsamic Chicken bowl it was wow, the lady on the counter was great she recommended it to me and I'm not disappointed, very happy to eat in cava in Alexandria, my home town, I will be back and let my friends know to thank you.

LOVE Cava so much! However, this location has fallen completely off. I’ve been living in the apts behind this Cava for the last 5 years. Within the last year it’s been a clear change of management. I also noticed the staff is almost completely new. I would stop by at least twice a week in person and order my usual. One day I noticed the lentils are hard as a rock. No problem, can move on from that. Then it happened 6 MORE times last year (2023). Stopped getting the lentils. I also moved towards pickup instead of ordering once I got there. Proportions are terrible and they will forget stuff… a lot. I also went in a few times and my order just wasn’t prepared for pick up. Had to wait for it to be made even tho I always show up 15-30 minutes after it’s scheduled to be ready. Never had any issues with this location before the year 2023. Which makes me so sad because it’s literally my fave take out food. Now I don’t go there nearly as much because my nerves have been trampled on. I’m tired.
