Everything was just amazing from the moment we walked in. We accidentally stumbled across this place, we will be coming back again and again. The service was particularly good, everyone smiling and so inviting, food was amazing and atmosphere fun!

Great authentic taco shop! Tasty flavors, would recommend the al pastor taco and the shrimp taco, also the fresh pineapple was so sweet and delicious!

The tacos are great. The 2 ladies that run the restaurant are the best. They make you feel like you have been invited to their home for a bite to eat. I highly recommend Chop Shop Taco.

Pros: Food was pretty good. Service was above average and the staff was friendly.
Cons: overpriced for the smallish portions. The happy hour price for a smaller sized marg was $9, and the $7.50 queso portion was very tiny. They also pre-set the tip at 25% which is just greedy when the server is staring right at you.

We are regulars at chop shop for their consistently delicious food and their lovely staff. Mary knows us and our favorite dishes - she sees us and immediately asks how we're doing, offers to put in an order for the brisket nachos. As an LGBT couple we feel completely safe and at ease here. The vibes are impeccable.
Tacos were great, with a good selection and interesting choices. Service was okay. A little overpriced.

This place used to be so bad I swore it off a couple years ago. I went back recently with friends who insisted it had gotten better. Well it has, not perfect but so much better. It looks like from the owner responses from the reviews they have new management which they sorely needed. I hope they continue to improve and do well.

This is the greatest place on Earth. Tonight I had two pork belly tacos, a Frito pie, and a lime Jarritos. Everything is crazy flavorful, always consistent. Nicest staff around. Chop Shop is absolutely my go-to place in Old Town. Thank you wonderful people at Chop Shop!
