We always go to the Chopt in Kingstown. It is what we look forward to everytime we are in the area for Dr visits. The food is done well and is very respectful of my husband's unique allergy. We always like sharing the experience with people that have never had it before as we do not have one in our county. The employees are very helpful and informed.

I’m solely basing my review on my food I received today via DoorDash. I ordered the Mexican Cesar salad. It had so many stems in it I couldn’t enjoy my salad. I spent my lunch digging out stems and bad lettuce. This is one of my favorite meals and it’s NOT cheap. I hope that I never experience this again.

I brought my friend here to try it for the first time. The staff was patient, explained each ingredient, and helped her put together a combination that she enjoyed. I got the chicken ginger seen in the photo, which I also enjoyed. The food is fresh and healthy, and staff is helpful with creating customized meals.

I walked in this evening to be greeted and treated with the best service possible! The cherry on top was the meal. But seriously, the staff tonight helped me figure out a salad I had been missing and they even made the salad even though it was off the menu. I really appreciate this specific location. Recommend stopping by here. 10/10

My order is wrong every single time I come here. It does not matter what I order, each time it is wrong. I don’t understand how a business can stay in operation and consistently get things wrong. My orders are placed on their website, so I don’t know if there’s a miscommunication between the site and the restaurant, but It is exasperating.

The salads are delicious! But most important, the two young ladies who helped us, were incredible friendly. They greeted us right away when we entered the store! We will come back! Thank you!

Got the strawberry summer salad and I got a family sized amount of lettuce... and I swear I only see enough pieces of strawberry to amount to one single piece of fruit. The chicken and fetta also seem pretty sparse. Only thing I can pick out are the onions. If I wanted to eat a bag of spinach, I'd of just gone to the grocery store. Don't recommend

This review is for the Kingstowne Chopt location specifically. Other Chopts would get a 5 star. I am writing this because my wife and I have had so many bad experiences at this location that we now get food from the Chopt in Ballston or Rosslyn, even though they are much farther from our place. The first few times were when they just opened, so we gave the benefit of the doubt it was just early opening issues (which would be fully understandable). But then we gave it a break and came back many months after the opening, and the issues still existed.

Note, to be fair, we have not visited in probably 6 months at least. Due to having had such bad experiences in the past, and now visiting other locations instead. Every once in a while I check reviews on Google and Yelp to see if the newer reviews are better, especially if they show some sign that management has changed. We are waiting for a sign that management has changed or to see a string of positive reviews come in. Once that happens we will give this another chance.

To the owner of Chopt: We would go to Chopt a ton more if we could trust this location, since it is so much closer to us. Also, if the management has changed recently, or something has happened that should make us consider giving this location another try, let us know. If we go back and get the usual experience we expect at a Chopt location a few times in a row, I'll update this review to positive.

Final note, anyone seeing this. I almost never leave negative reviews. Most of my reviews are 5 stars. I'm not leaving this to complain, rather just in the hopes that things can improve.

I get chopt salad from dc location near work all the time and really liked their summer salad offering with jalapenos and wanted to see if wife will enjoy it as well. What a disappointment. Ordered two different salads with jalapenos and neither of them tasted like it had any if at all. Zero heat in either of them.
Unsure how two chopt locations can taste so different from each other.
