Great food and good service!

Stuffed salmon has no flavor, can’t tell the difference from crab or salmon. To be honest everything lacked taste. I support or businesses but this was very underwhelming!

I was so ready to try this place as a seafood foodie. I was disappointed with the menu and the food. We actually left and went to the another restaurant.

The location, aesthetic, and food does not warrant the prices that are charged here. For 2 people, our bill came to $150. The lambchops were dry and overcooked. Both entrees came out lukewarm... not hot at all. They wanted to charge $10 just to get some cream sauce. It is a tiny location. You could get better food and ambiance at outback. I doubt that I will come back. I don't see much value for the price paid.

My first visit at CrabCab in Virginia was great. I ordered the seafood egg rolls and they were delicious and fulfilling so I return yesterday and Rebecca was my server, she gave okay conversation, hiwver, when I complained about the dramatic change in the size of the egg rolls she indicated it depends on who make them and that the egg rolls were pre made. People when I get to home these things were filled with a cabbage, pre-baby shrimp and not a ounce crab meat could be found. Honey, money is tight and to support a black buisness owner where staff never tried to accommodate was a No No for me! I'll pass this buisness and encourage you to as well. Ps, the seafood eggs rolls were a to go order that came out before my dine in oder... challenges

I'm really not sure how this place got 4.6 stars! The customer service was decent. The food was horrible (minus the seafood oysters), those were bomb!! Egg rolls overrated. Those seafood fries were horrible. The main dishes were mid asf. Drinks just decent. To top it off, the prices are wayyyy over priced!!! 163.00 for less than mid food is crazyyyy. Would have spent less at Ruth Chris for quality food. I'll never go back. Don't waste your time. But then again I'm a chef, so I guess people hype up mid food as if it was good because they don't know any better. Probably most dissatisfying restaurant I've been to in a long time! Oh and it's very small inside. I didn't mind that...but the food/pricing is what pissed me off!

The bar is a decent size but there is not much room for table seating. I would not recommend coming here with a large party, The seafood egg rolls are excellent. The Island pasta was surprisingly good. The salmon was on point but the shrimp lacked jerk flavor as the menu described. The portion size is good. The lamb chops were over cooked and tasted like charcoal. They were sent back, and came back over cooked tasting like charcoal but a little more bearable on the palate but with no new sides, as the whole plate was taken away when the first order was sent back. The seafood quesadilla was good but two pieces of shell were found it in. The hostess did a good job as she was waitressing also because they appeared to be short staffed. Reservation should definitely be made ahead due to the limited amount of table seating.

The ambience was wonderful. The service was great. I enjoyed almost all of my food. The Brussel Sprouts were absolutely delicious. A sheer delight. The crab dip was on point. I took home the Island Pasta and let's just say I will order something else the next time I go. I would recommend trying this restaurant and I would go back.

Me and a couple of other parties had reservations for 5pm, 530pm and 6pm. They made the 5pm people wait an hour and finally at 6pm(time of our reservation) they refused to take anymore tables and said their kitchen closes at 630 and to go to capitol heights location. We drive all the way there and the capitol height location refused us too. Don’t even waste your time.

Delicious food and amazing people

Stephanie Heldreth

The food was amazing but the service was horrible. First, the servers didn’t want to serve us even though they weren’t closing til over an hour after we arrived. Second after the owner/manager made them serve us we waited for 10 minutes for them to greet us (3 servers and two tables). The table who arrived after us was greeted first. Third, they never brought us our salads til our meal was served, never asked if we wanted another drink besides water and once our food was served never checked on us. Fourth, we had to flag them down for a box and the bill. The MOST surprising was they charged us 18% service fee when we received NO service!! I was a server for 8 years so I’m all about tips but not when it’s deplorable service.

Shelia was my waitress, she provided great customer service with a friendly attitude. I’ve eaten at Crabtown several times, the quality and taste of my orders are always consistently good.
I would not hesitate to recommend. Come for the food and enjoy the “old school arcade” pinball machines.

The place was dirty. The food was horrible and burnt. The staff was not dress appropriate for a restaurant setting.
