Perfect sunset with boats, planes and the Washington DC skyline..free parking, with trails and lots of green grass to enjoy!!
Spent last weekend at the Washington Sailing Marina with my son. The Sea Scout program there is amazing! Great people in such a beautiful place! I strongly recommend!
It really has closed as of Labor Day 2019
Took over the deck area of the old Triple Craft location at the WashingtonSailing marina. Great bar and grill food on anice open deck with wonderful views of the airport and potomac river where people can chill. Families can bike ride, walk, jog, rent sail boats, kayak and paddle board.

easy access, lovely location, fun area, good people.
A friend and I went to Indigo Landing for a Restaurant Week dinner. What we DID NOT KNOW was that it was the LAST NIGHT it was to be OPEN before being CLOSED for renovations! Our waiter greeted us with that information as we sat down. We've been here many times before and have always enjoyed it. We'll watch their website because we'll be back to try whatever comes next. The LOCATION is BEAUTIFUL, as it across the water from Reagan National Airport and Washington, DC. It is also right next to a sailboat marina. So, lovely lights at night reflecting off the water and sailboats cruising by during the day. I'd say, watch for their reopening and go try the new place!
This was my first time dining at Indigo Landing but I will definitely be back! The food is delicious and they offer vast menu selections. Service was very friendly and attentive. My guests and I were thoroughly impressed.

The kitchen was out of steak and prime rib. The rockfish that I had was bland, and cool. The waitress was absolutely kind, but overwhelmed. The appetizers were the best part of the meal. The artichoke and crab dip was amazingly delicious. The view is breathtaking. Overall I would only come back for a summer drink on the deck.
The acoustics are terrible, although the view of the city is beautiful. It's a bit too dingy for my taste, but they are renovating soon.
It was our first visit as well as our 30th wedding anniversary. The hostess was very nice providing different seating options since there were a couple of large parties;however, the server was out to lunch. She messed up our drink order and completely forgot our appetizers. According to our server she had worked at the establishment for 23 years (or maybe 30 she stated both)and was just notified the restaurant was closing. We were lucky enough to pick the very night they were closing for 2 months to restructure! (And they had already informed the servers that they may not get called back) I guess this explains why she was so rattled and the restaurant was out of many selections. It was definitely a memorable anniversary dinner but not for the right reasons.
My wife and I just loved this find. The waitress was good. She kept coming back, maybe a little too often.
My memory of this place is that is has a wonderful ambiance and good food, so I was not hesitant to take my husband there for his birthday. Unfortunately, I had to re-assess once we sat down. This is a great place to go in the summer in the evening or late afternoon. It is on the water and has a beautiful view of the Potomac. You can see the planes coming and going in and out of Reagan Airport. But for mid-day in January, it is a blah place. Almost empty, and while our server was pretty attentive, there was a hair in the sauce for our calamari appetizer; the flounder sandwich was too breaded; the chef's salad was overloaded with bacon; the crabcakes didn't have a lot of filler but were blah and the chicken was not flavorful. I think this place has outlived it's good reputation. I would not go back.
