Spent last weekend at the Washington Sailing Marina with my son. The Sea Scout program there is amazing! Great people in such a beautiful place! I strongly recommend!

Perfect setting for a fresh off the grill burger and beer. Burgers for Sail is a pop up restaurant with a selection of grilled items. Chips. Canned sodas and beer. Plus icecream. Seating is outdoors with a beautiful view of the Potomac.

Triple Craft will not be opening for the 2020 season due to COVID. But since they have a government contact for the place. They should be back for Spring/Summer 2021.

Took over the deck area of the old Triple Craft location at the WashingtonSailing marina. Great bar and grill food on anice open deck with wonderful views of the airport and potomac river where people can chill. Families can bike ride, walk, jog, rent sail boats, kayak and paddle board.

Beach Time

It really has closed as of Labor Day 2019

I am sad to hear that tripecraft is gone.... I loved their fried pickles and burgers. Shakes were great. I was planning on coming often this summer :-( Their staff was efficient, the place clean and you could not beat the view from the deck. It was always packed.

The new "Daingerfield Bar and Grill" is completely not the same thing as the old Triple Craft restaurant. Triple Craft was wonderful - a secret gem of a place. The Daingerfield food is about the most unappetizing and nasty stuff I have ever been served in a restaurant, including in Eastern Europe before the end of the Cold War. My son was served an undercooked and half frozen on half a bun (they didn't have enough buns for everyone to get an entire bun) and the salad I was served was so gross to behold I just returned it and tried to erase the image from my mind. Stick to ordering a beer and bring your own meals and eat at the picnic tables.

It's basically re-open now under the name "Daingerfield Island Bar & Grill Presented by Triple Craft" as an outdoor operation. Everything (bar, grill, seating) is currently outside on the deck. The indoor sections were not in use. You order food & drinks at the counter near the entrance. They'll give you a drink ticket to take to the bar a few feet away & then they'll bring your food to your table. The fence that once separated the deck into two areas is gone. The bar & grill seating occupies the entire deck now. New palm trees and a live guitarist give the atmosphere more of a beach vibe. No official word on if/when the indoor side will be available. But we've been coming here for years & loved the updated environment and friendly staff! We'll be back!

Love this place and location. But as of 3 May 2019, it's hasn't reopened. The same note from 2018 says the restaurant is closed for the season, and will reopen in Spring. Not a good sign. Too bad!
