Dairy Queen (Treat)

Item made incorrectly and not good.

Placed an online order while traveling. I went to the wrong location. The DQ I ended up at said just to give this location where my order was a call and it should be no problem to have them cancel the order. I called 3x and kept being told they couldn’t cancel it/that I had to do it in the app. The second time I called they hung up the phone on me. I told them multiple times that not only did the location I arrived at sold me that calling the location is the appropriate action, but that’s what the app told me to do as well. I asked to speak with a manager to get some assistance and the person said she couldn’t do anything else - I need to cancel in the app or come in store during business hours. It didn’t matter how many times I tried to tell them that canceling in the app wasn’t an option and that I’m not local to this area there was no other support or effort to find support from their team. The DQ in Lorton (where order was intended for) did their best to help me and said they can process cancellations on their end and apologized for the experience of this location. Attached are photos of what I see in the app for how to cancel the order…which refers me to call the store.

This is now known as the Dairy Queen where we do not allow family and friends to get a blizzard. They have so many freezer machines dumping heat into the dining area and they do not run their air conditioning low enough. In this uncomfortably warm environment. It does not seem like they rinse/wash the machine for the blizzard. I believe it has soured milk on it that is then mixed into the blizzard. This is not a one time experience, Last month we ordered two blizzards. They remade them and even the ones they remade were sour. We just politely walked out of the store and dumped them in the trash can. Tonight, my daughter still wanted to order a blizzard even though she knew it most likely would taste sour like spoiled milk sure enough it did. My wife refused to even taste it she could smell how sour it was. That is now 5 sour blizzards. Ice cream cones and ice cream sundaes are not sour so at least that’s an option at this location.

I really wish they could do stuff consistently... esp with the prices. This should be chocolatey but it's just vanilla ice cream and m&ms.

I have been to many different Dairy Queen’s, and this location is definitely not up to the chain standards. Go to an other location for a good service and food.

My first initial experience with this location was okay. The guy was nice enough. Gave me my dipped cone in a reasonable amount of time. However, my second experience was TERRIBLE. The woman working behind the counter on March 7th around 8 pm was awful. She played on her ipad while we waited at the counter and after probably close to 3 minutes she walks into the back and comes out after another few minutes. She proceeds to tell us that the ice cream machine was broken and there was no ice cream. So rather than telling us at the get go she wastes our time and ignores us. Terrible customer service, go elsewhere.

Terrible. We saw online (and on the page on the door) that they closed at 9pm so we showed up 20 minutes early. When we got there the door was locked and there were still people inside. We knocked on the door several times and the lady in the picture shook her head and then proceeded to very rudely ignore us and make faces at us, when they supposedly still had 20 minutes left before closing. This dairy queen location has honestly just gotten worse and worse over the years, definitely don’t recommend.

Very rude woman always looking for a fight doesn't want to give me ice cream in a cup it's very simple she needs training or a new job.

They had 2 people working. The lady in the front was working super slow completing one order for the person ahead of me. She had to ask the guy in the back to take my order. He was the rudest. I asked if I could get onion rings instead of fries and he looked at me and said no. I should’ve asked the other person. What are onion rings for if you can’t order them? I was too annoyed to insist. Instead I asked my husband to order me some and they told him yes but that it would take a while. Now it makes sense. Guy in the back was too lazy to do it. He must’ve felt ashamed when I was the one who picked up the order. Please save yourself a trip and skip this location.

guess this was our last visit at this DQ we usually go 1x a month but after today I don't think so. All I wanted was a little more hot Fudge on my ice cream it was ridiculous not only that I never had gotten a receipt paid cash 15.40 cents so when I was tolmd that I have to pay for the hot fudge extra I thought I would at least have a confirmation # to give survey not only that I paid 1 dollar on top on my tip ( never again) The receipt has no confirmation number. CAN'T RECOMMEND THE DQ

It was a perfect day for a Heath bar Blizzard. It did not disappoint - I shared with my husband ❤️.

Only open till 9pm.. I'm not sure if its new hours, but only 9 pm, so the 10pm picture is old.
