The Del Re Cafe is one of my favorite restaurants. I have eaten breakfast, brunch, and lunch here many times, and everything is super-yummy. I get very full because I can’t resist starting the meal with their soup of the day and a croissant. Then I must have an omelette, or burger, or try a different great option. Then there’s dessert of course, such as a soufflé, or beignets with dipping sauces and whipped cream. The DRC’s cocktails and cappuccinos are also scrumptious. The atmosphere is cheerful, and the staff treats customers like family. You’ll have a great day at the Del Re Cafe!

Every time I walk through the front door of Del Ray Cafe feels like a homecoming. The hospitality of the owners Laurent and Margaret Janowsky and their amazing team makes this restaurant a truly special experience. The food is excellent - I especially love their eggs benedict, Angus tenderloin, and their soups. And of course, no meal at Del Ray Cafe is complete without their delicious Profiteroles. Speaking of the team - the service is excellent - attentive, efficient and friendly. Please be sure to tell them I sent you and Bon Appetit!

There is a small down stairs dining room as well as the upstairs, and their breakfast options are filling and adequately priced. I had the salmon Benedict as well as a side of the SOS chipped beef, both of which were perfectly balanced and suprisingly light on the pallet while being adequately filling! this place is definitely a perfect breakfast/lunch spot, and make sure you check what's on special!!

Funky little place in the heart of Alexandria's Del Ray. I had the ham and cheese crepe with wild mushroom and bechamel sauce. Wonderful flavor but if you are hungry add an egg. My dining partner got the open faced chicken salad and loved it. Worth a trip to this cool neighborhood!

Where should I begin with Del Rey Cafe? The staff is very friendly and went above and beyond to accommodate our requests. The food is absolutely delicious and every dish we tried was excellent. The croissant was soft and flaky, the eggs Benedict were perfectly cooked and full of flavor, and the crepes with brown sugar are a must-try. I look forward to returning to Alexandria and visiting this restaurant again.

Sat outside for the first time before it gets too hot but has some nice shade and a breeze. Luis was great. Food was all amazing as usual.

Excellent breakfast + brunch joint. Highly recommend. Not a lot of places to park. We tried the eggs Benedict with Canadian bacon and it was delicious.

Fun restaurant - attentive staff that sends off good vibes. Food is good, with different options available from the menu. The restaurant is usually busy so plan ahead.

Wonderful and quaint however because it's located in a residential area, parking is awful. It actually is a small house converted to a restaurant. You will need to find a space and walk to the restaurant.

Parking: Sorry to say...awful
