Del Ray Pizzeria is a neighborhood icon! Best pizza in the DMV area, friendly staff, and an excellent beer list. It really is just a one of a kind neighborhood spot: kids coloring menus with family events, outdoor dining with lots of dogs, inventive cocktails, constantly rotating beer menus, drag shows, bingo nights, live performances, lots of locals, and a sports always playing on one or all of the televisions. Most unique of all: Flipside Speakeasy is located right above the restaurant offering a quieter atmosphere, even MORE cocktails, and a great vinyl record selection! Both are a must see on anybody’s bar hopping excursion through Del Ray.

Great cocktails and service

We had high hopes for this Halloween-themed bar. The deco was fun. The staff were friendly. The drinks were absolutely terrible. We asked for an Angel’s Envy bourbon and what we received was something unworldly and red in color. I ordered a drink called Bogwater and that pretty much summed up the way it tasted. They definitely need to step up their cocktail game.

Pretty cool spot above Del Ray Pizzeria. Drinks were great and the bar tenders were very friendly. It’s a small space so if you are claustrophobic it might not be the best spot for you.

Loved the decor and the intimacy!

This is a very fun, hip, eclectic cocktail lounge. The vintage furniture paired with the lo-fi music and LED makes for an ethereal and memorable experience.

Went to DRP on Mt Vernon and the hostess stated they were having trivia night and most tables were reserved, but had a hi-top open in the bar area. As we approached the hi-top, another employee approached us and stated we couldn't sit at the table and directed us to the bar. I assume this was the manager because she seemed to be running the show. I politely stated that we were sent to this table by the hostess and I got a very nasty look like I was from another planet and we were treated like a burden. After some debate between the employees while we stood there we were again offered the hi-top. My wife and her friend and I decided shortly after sitting that we didn't feel welcomed and we should bring our business to a friendlier more organized establishment. We are not that picky, but it was too awkward to be in the middle of their disorganization and we didn't feel they deserved our business. Del Ray Cafe got our business instead and the food and atmosphere was way better...so it worked out. Not for DRP though.

The sides are all really good. The main courses were not my favorite
