The food was good, but the doors are now officially closed. Sorry!
THE BEST Fish & Chips I've ever had! ( And I've had amazing Fish & Chips in Dublin, Ireland )
Love them and will miss them. Sorry to hear that they will be closing. Delicious, battered cod fried to perfection. Please open another chipper in the DMV soon.
some of the best cod you'll find in the DC area. But unfortunately they are closing for good the end of the month (July 2019)
I'm from England and miss real British chips. I bought a small portion of chips which was $5 definitely a very very small portion for $5. The chips were nice but not as thick cut as I'd hoped. Still on the hunt for chips close to the ones from home.
Yum! They have Irn Bru!
LOVE THEIR FISH. I only gave 4 stars cause cause the guy /server was very very annoying. He wanted to talk. We wanted to eat our fish! He annoyed the people at another table too. I heard them talking about it.
Generally unimpressed with this place. Instead of golden and flaky, the fish was a brown block, without a ton of flavor. The chips were a bit soggy, and nothing like the thick-cut ones one would expect at a fish and chips joint. The most interesting part was the different types of sauces, but that's hardly enough to pay the asking price for this meal. I'd recommend finding one of the dozens of other great places on King Street
Been coming here for years. Food is awesome and the guy who usually works the counter is great to talk to. Even if you do not like fish, come here for chips and you can get chicken bites.
Okay it's not fancy but that's not why people come here. It's just downright great fish! We prefer the basa fish over the cod. Don't pass up the chips and eat them with the curry sauce.

Authentic fish and chips. High quality fish with great batter and dipping sauces. Good drink selection. Seats aren't too comfy, and menu isn't too diverse, but what do you what? It's a fish and chips shop.
Extremely overpriced. Who orders fish and chips and expects to receive 1 small piece of fish? And it's still $7! With no fries! I'm not trying to be cheap here. It's actually reddiculous.
Husbands fish sandwich was great. My chicken bites not so much. Also pricey. $28 for those two things and chips. Won't go back.
Fun place. Great beer. Love that they had a live band.
Every one should have an indulgent food weakness. This place has to be one of mine. Love it!!
