Still one of my favorite pizza spots in the area! They have yet to disappoint! One pizza probably feeds 2 people max. Maybe 3 if you're not too hungry! I ate 3 slices and have no regrets haha.

This is such a great lunch spot! I stopped in on a Saturday with friends who were visiting from out of town. We were able to walk in with no reservation and were seated immediately in a cozy booth. The service was excellent, our server explained Detroit style pizza and brought us water right away. We ordered drinks, a Caesar salad and the vodka pizza to share. They have an extensive brunch menu and lots of alcoholic and nonalcoholic drink options that all looked great, but I stuck with water today. The Caesar was solid but there were a few huge chunks of cheese in it. When the server dropped off the vodka pizza, he also had a second pizza that I figured was going to another table but it turns out he offered it to us on the house! It was a gluten free crust with pepperoni, Calabrian chiles, and pesto dressing. It was so nice of him to bring it to us! That said, 2 pizzas for 3 people was a lot of food and my friends don't like spice, so I had a slice of each and brought the rest home and am very excited to eat it later! The vodka pizza was really good as well, the sauce was creamy without being too rich. I left very comfortably full with a hefty takeaway box.

Group of six of us came in front out of town and absolutely loved this place. Our server Bobby was so funny and sweet. Every meal we ordered was cooked perfectly and we didn't wait long between ordering and receiving meal. Also, the wine and skinny marg was excellent!! Will def be back.

It was an okay experience. For the area it is located in, it is averagely priced but overall I don't think I would be back in the long run. In our party one couple didn't get their pizza 20-30 minutes later than the rest of us. We just waited and chatted until it came out. By the time their food came out the rest of ours were all cold. We didn't really get a straight answer as to why theirs took so long and it came out a little burnt.

Very good pizza. The wine is quite expensive though. Great location. You can select your own ingredients, so I was able to get all sugar-free toppings. I got truffle mushroom white pizza with grilled chicken, burrata and basil added. Hubby got pepperoni with mushrooms.

The restaurant is loud, but the location is good. The pizza was very good. Typical bar food and drinks.

Great pizza! My sister was in town visiting and we decided to stop here for lunch. We visited on a Friday afternoon before the after work rush so seating was a breeze. I love Detroit style pizza, it was crispy on the outside but still very delectable. I customized my own pizza. I think it's definitely worth visiting.

The service was very slow and when our pizza finally was served it was burnt on most of the top and all of the bottom. The center of the dough was not cooked. The place is very noisy. We were there on 4/06/2024. We were there at 1pm and the hostess told us she had one table open and we had to promise we would be done by 3pm as it was reserved. We would not recommend this place.

Love this place. Vibe is chill and it's located near the water in Old Town Alexandria. Service was tops-great recommendations by the server, and they seem very genuine. Food came out in timely fashion. Food was also great! Had a little bit of pizza, breadsticks, burgers, and the drink was awesome. Definitely a new spot to go to when I have the hankering for some grandma/detroit style pies. The pizza crust is perfectly thick, fluffy, and crispy top and edges. The sauce is also delicious. Oh, and those waffle fries were yummy! Will definitely be back.

The pizza at Emmy is worth the parking hassles of old town. Very limited drafts available, but plenty of variety offered by the can. A decent amount (~18) of wines by the glass. But the best is the premium toppings available for the pizza: mini pepperoni (that crisp up perfectly), caramelized onions, spicy kimchi, pickled jalapeños, fried chicken, suppressants, and my favorite - Burrata cheese. Plenty of seating inside and outside on King Street. The staff could use some training as they weren't very engaging and their energy was a bit sterile. They all quietly and kindly served their purpose.

There's a lot of pizza places around but not a ton that specialize in Detroit style, this place does it pretty well. I got the one with pepperoni, peppers and hot honey. Overall very good taste and crunch. Thick but still light and airy. Never thought I'd like honey on a pizza but it works. Little on the pricey side but for once in a while splurge it's a good spot.

Ate here with 4 kids and 4 adults. Service was great, and the Angel pizza was out of this world.
