City Kitchen Reviews
Great staff, eclectic menu. For me, it’s all about temperature. Fries and Brussels sprouts were room temperature. We didn’t say anything as we’d already asked for a missing order of fries, thankfully served hot. If the kitchen is yards away is there any reason for tepid food? City Kitchen in Alexandria is a delightful restaurant known for fresh and delicious food. It features a variety of popular menu items, including seared duck, salmon, Bolognese, pizza, and The City Burger. The service is consistently exceptional, with staff going above and beyond to provide friendly interactions that enhance the dining experience. The restaurant has a spacious seating area and a bar with a good selection of beverages, contributing to its inviting atmosphere. While some may feel that the layout tries to be both a sports bar and a restaurant without fully succeeding, City Kitchen remains a hidden gem worth visiting. The food is always fresh and hot, and many guests have enjoyed items like clam chowder, gumbo, pizzas, and wings. Though its location in a strip mall might seem unappealing, City Kitchen is a great option for anyone searching for a new go-to place.
