This is one of our favorite restaurants in Alexandria. I was stuck in which beer to get, but our waitress let me try one before deciding. That was incredibly helpful. We both ordered pizzas and had zero complaints. No issues and glad to support this place.

Amazing brunch menu and cocktails! Service was quick and friendly. My husband and I were in and out in less than an hour on a Saturday morning during peak brunch hours, even with 2 drinks each, an appetizer and 2 entrees. They have a pretty diverse brunch menu and you can also order any of their normal entrees during brunch hours as well. Great vibes, clean, and affordable. 10/10 would recommend!

Super poor service when it wasn’t busy. It took longer for our two beers to come out than it did for our meal. Server literally had no idea what he was talking about with the beer and gave us false information about the beers we ordered. Pizzas came out and literally had the soggiest crust I’ve ever had in my life. Spoke to someone, and they acted like it wasn’t a big deal. Complete waste of money. Won’t go back, and I recommend you don’t go either.

I just ate the most delicious Key Lime Parfait at Fat City Kitchen!I've eaten here a number of times. Always delicious. Not that many vegetable options, but still worth eating here.I like the industrial vibe. The seats are comfortable. The staff is really friendly and helpful.I am appreciating my server, Terri, recommending the parfait!

Service was trash. I waited at the host(ess) desk for at least 10 min. The restaurant was not busy or buzzing at all. A waiter walked past me several times and never acknowledged my presence. I actually had to walk further into the restaurant to get someone’s attention to be seated. Got a pepperoni pizza - super mediocre, but I’m also from South Jersey/Philly, so it’s hard to beat that. Hoodoo drink was weak, but tasty. Mocha Cheesecake wasn’t good at all. I didn’t finish it. As a newbie to the area, I am certain that I will not return. 7/10 for the vibes though. Patrons were chill and it had a good atmosphere.
First time going to City Kitchen. We have been missing out. Great food and great service.

We’ve been to City Kitchen twice recently, and have had really nice experiences. The food is flavorful and hot, the drink portions are solid, the music is fun, and our server Robert is great — he is very attentive and friendly! It’s nice to have a reliable local restaurant that has something for everyone. We will be back!Parking: Parking lot out front is huge and spots are widely available
