Fish Market feels like Texas Roadhouse, but instead of steak, serves seafood. That's not to say the seafood is bad; its actually pretty good. But the atmosphere was incredibly crowded and chaotic, with some corny decorations. We ordered a dozen oysters which were delicious! All of our entrees were just okay. The food was amazing!!! I was really impressed by how much seafood you get in each dish. We got the crab cake sandwich, seafood Cobb, and seafood pasta. All great and tasty items I recommend getting at least one of these to try. The service was also good and fast. We did go on a weekday lunch so it wasn’t very busy. Definitely come eat here if you are in Alexandria!
Overall I wasn’t impressed. It’s located in a spot heavily frequented with locals and tourists, so parking becomes a real challenge. There is a paid parking garage nearby but for what you’ll spend, the garage fees just add to it. The staff are friendly so there’s no issue there. The setting is comfortable and casual but I feel like it could be better. I think the biggest thing is the price. I’m not a seafood person but my wife and son are (which is why I went). Even...
