Wonderful experience. A great variety of menu choices, although a bit limited during Sunday brunch. Service was very good, but food took a while to come out. Then again, it was a busy Sunday morning.
Tables inside and outside of course; mostly full.
All 5 of us loved our food, and enjoys sampling everyone else's food.
We will definitely be back the next time we're in town.

Wholly unimpressed. Stopped by for a snack on a beautiful Sunday morning. Drinks took forever to come, but the wine was good. Ordered the $32 artisinal cheese and fruit plate. Imagine our surprise when it comes out- 3 grocery store level cheeses, and the most basic fruit I can think of. Who puts BANANAS on a cheese plate?? No spreads, nothing I couldn't get for $5 at Harris Teeter. Bananas, green apple, purple grapes, and a single strawberry. Then also a smattering of crackers, including townhouse. We literally laughed when it was served. In a location like Old Town Alexandria, I cannot believe something so rudimentary is being peddled for such a cost! We will gladly go to the hundreds of more elevated places next time!

Amazing food, friendly and fast service. We tried Pan roasted trout with parsley baby potatoes, Alsatian tartlet, and Just peachy crepe and loved it all! Indoor and outdoor seating. Full bar. Strongly recommended! 👍🏻

Meh. Decent food. Side salad - literally just lettuce. Overpriced for value delivered. Decent ambiance. Inside echoes/too loud. Outside tables are quieter. Service was slow.

The food was wonderful and enjoyable, though it felt a little over priced. My wife and I really enjoyed it for a light lunch.

Do not eat here. Go for drinks maybe, but the food is terrible AND overpriced and you'll have to wait 20 minutes to get the servers attention. An example of the overpriced, terrible food - we got a fruit and pastry plate for $15. That plate consisted of about 10 SMALL pieces of fruit and 3 tiny pastries that looked 3 days old and came straight from a Holiday Inn buffet. Everything else was bad too, but that item took the proverbial cake.

The Cafe is a cute hidden gem that had spectacular food and a lovely atmosphere. I am often asked why I did not offer five stars?
The answer is always the same, pricing. For a group of two kids and two adults having not had a single alcoholic beverage, the bill tipped, $140 at lunch. This is NYC pricing without having the luxuries of Midtown.
The meals we had were delicious, and the menu, while a little bloated, had a minor sense of organization. It was an attempt to be French while crumbling to the American-zation of the dishes.
My Ham and Swiss sandwich was well prepared and presented. My children enjoyed their crepes and fell in love with the home squeezed lemonade.
Service was quick, but a true French cafe always has a fresh pot of coffee brewing. It is a serious misstep to have customers wait for coffee. In Paris, no fresh coffee would mean no customers.
Finally, if you have a few extra dollars to spend, it is worth a try. Though if you're a typical family watching their pennies, this isn't for you.

Excellent crêpes.
I had the Bella which is Nutella + fresh strawberries. They serve savory crêpes too. Coffee, not so much. It was a bit crowded, and the staff seemed overwhelmed. So I would come whenever it gets less busy. Outside seating is nice and gives a Parisienne feel. I would come again for sure.

Had a very nice lunch. I will definitely come back. I had the lox, egg and tomato for brunch. My son got French toast. His girlfriend got the Shakshouka. Also, the latte was very good.
Came back another time and had brunch. The menu is very limited and I think quite expensive.
Service is overly attentive.
It was just ok. Nobody in the table LOVED what they had, but also no complaints.
