I was worried the small size was going to be too small for an individual but was a great sized portion. They didn’t have prosecco when I ordered it but the waiter was ready to suggest substitution.
Good but inconsistent- you have front top and just a little bit of cheese and looks like we may having pizza. Wanna go tonight was way too much cheese, which was inconsistent with previous tomato pie with mozzarella I’ve had. In the past, it’s been just the perfect amount of mozzarella, but tonight was dripping with cheese. I love their pizza and I will keep coming back, but I think there are some quality control issues that might need to happen with some training in the kitchen. Overall, my experience has been in the past 10 visits to show great pizza, tonight was just an outlier, I just think retraining the staff on what New Haven pizza ratio is and not like more cheese is better like a lot of lances. Will come back for sure though, crust and sauce is excellent.

Being from the northeast and missing good pizza this is one of the only legit places in all of northern VA.

First time, the pizza was pricey, it was baked well, tasted ok, but the biggest problem is that the bacon was practically raw.

Msgann is truly a gem! The pizza was incredible, but her warmth, energy, and top-tier service made the whole experience unforgettable. She went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Honestly, she’s the kind of person who makes you want to come back again and again. A total star!

I am a pizza fanatic and am aware of the Legendary Pizzeria, Frank Pepes in New Haven, Conn., so I was glad when they opened a spot in Alexander, Va. As I was driving back home from DC, I decided to stop. As I walked in, the first thing I noticed was their open kitchen with huge coal-fired ovens, quite impressive. The service was excellent. I ordered a large half tomato, half cheese pie. I am sorry to say that I was disappointed, the pie was tasteless and had no flavor. Frankly, I have had better Neapolitan pizzas elsewhere.

The pizza here is always delicious. It is great having a local Pepe's. No need to drive to New Haven to get it.
The service here is amazing. If your pizza does not meet their, or your, standards, they will remake it for you.
They are committed to quality

Best pizza in my opinion. Chewy and slightly charred.

Best pizza in Alexandria maybe the DMV
First visit. Recommended by a co-worker. Came in for lunch before the lunch rush hit. Lost the waiter shortly after. Food was ok, though some of the menu items paired well / differ from another pizza place.
I'll visit again as I always give a place a second chance.
