We've been to Gatsby's a few times and have always loved it but this time felt different. The candles are no longer real and the wait staff was not dressed in the old fashioned garb. The bread was cold and the food was extremely salty (the crab Mac specifically with little crab). I know these all sound like small things but they added up. We were so excited to bring friends there who hadn't been and we all left a bit disappointed. Please bring back the old Gatsby's
We enjoyed lunch at this historic old tavern from the days of George Washington who celebrated at the Gadsby's Tavern. Take tome to look around and imagine what it must have been like in the days of George Washington to find George and Martha Washington, Thomas Jefferson, and the marquis de Lafayette at the tavern crafting the history of our country.
Washington's duck dinner Washington ordered all the time was outstanding!! Peanut soup never fails to disappoint me. Service was nice..., very pleasant servers. Ambience was great. I missed having the musician who usually performs during the holidays there and the resturant could have been decorated more for the holidays like it has been in the past.
