I came here with my husband for ayce weekday lunch. It was only $20 a person for ayce lunch prices and pretty decent! I have pretty high standards for kbbq since I grew up in California with plenty of options to choose from. My husband thought it was really good for the price and I also enjoyed it, but it didn't quite hit the spot for me. Overall, the service was great and I felt like it was a decent spot.

Awesome Korean BBQ all you can eat. Our server did a great job explaining the options and helped cooked the food. We ate a lot of various pork belly and beef. The sides were great and also asked for bean sauce. One thing I noticed was they added on gratuities so make sure you check the bill.

Found my new favorite Korean BBQ spot in Alexandria. Here's what I got for about $24 bucks within the 90 minute window allowed. All-you-can-eat salad, radish 2x, broccoli, kimchi, white rice, bulgogi and flank steak. It comes with choice of soy bean paste soups or X. Everything was perfectly pickled and seasoned. One note for the foodies: The flank steak is one of the favorites at the restaurant but I didn't like it, as I much more appreciate a marinated situation. I will try the marinated steak or spicy pork bulgogi next time. The bulgogi was deeeelicious and I ate every bit of it. I recommend you ask for the soup to arrive early on. It's delicious too! Snappy pickled veggies. Yum! Even the water was good!! Duke was my server and he cooked the meats for me. He was very attentive and just the perfect amount of friendly. Short wait to sit and food comes within milliseconds of you sitting down. I was there for lunch on a Friday and it was pretty busy. The place is reasonably priced and everything was clean. The music is pleasant, Korean ballads, and helps drown out the kitchen silverware slamming. This was such a great lunch experience!

This place is one of the best around in NOVA. I say this due to the price and quality of meat. You can tell that the meat is way better than most "popular" kbbq places. The servers are always quick and nice and seems really organized. Service is always so great and the ambiance is casual so have fun here!

Food was absolutely amazing and the waitresses were really good about bringing more meats, asking about refills on drinks, cleaning, helping the cooking, etc. Highly impressed and would love to come back but being from out of town, unsure when that'll next be.Parking: Strip mall styled parking

This is a gem - $20 all you can eat Korean BBQ lunch! They have full service where the staff cooks the meat for you. During weekdays lunch time, it's pretty empty so eating there was a relaxing experience! The lunch menu is limited compared to the dinner menu, but for $20 we are satisfied with the meal and service. Highly recommend!!

Food was really good and the service was great BUT they add an automatic 20% tip to the bill. This wasn't pointed out to us anywhere or by anyone. I almost added another 20% tip on top because I didn't notice the auto tip at first. SUPER SHADY, I won't be

Very friendly service, food is a little sub-par especially for the area. A lot better Korean barbecue fresh taste around the area in my opinion.

My friend and I decided to stop by as we were in the mood for some k bbq. The venue was on the empty side as we decided to stop by around 1pm on a Thursday, however our server was attentive. We ordered from both the lunch AYCE menu a well as the a la carte. The pork belly was great (4/5) and the cheese corn was amazing (5/5) and the only thing that could've made it better would have been if there was more. However, the beef bulgogi (2.5/5) left much to be desired. Although, flavorful the cuts of meat itself had long stringy pieces of either fat or tendon still attached. Thus causing me to push it to the side in hopes of grandeur options. As far as the sides my favorite was the pickled radish (4/5 and a little too sweet for me), however the kimchi was surprisingly either watered down or very recently made.

Gogi Friends is definitely an option for your standard all you can eat ($32 for dinner) Korean BBQ. I'd recommend getting there a little early to wait. We came on a Friday night and because we were a party of less than 6 we were told that they couldn't 'reserve' a table but that they would have a table ready when we got there. Once we arrived we were told that it would be a 5 minute wait which was fine, but ultimately ended up being about a 15 minute wait which was pretty disappointing. It also seemed as though other people in the waiting area were told a time which was shorter than what they were actually experiencing. The normal 'on the table' KBBQ sides were standard with an assortment of vegetables and rice. The ordered sides were just fine. We got the corn cheese (one per table) and the rice cakes but I probably wouldn't order these again. The meats varied from being decent to really good. I enjoyed the Top Blade Steak the most and found the Hawaiian bulgogi to lack some flavor. The portion sizes were pretty large which can be good if you're in a large group, but for 2 people it also limits the amount of items you can try. The ambiance was pretty on par for KBBQ and though we did not decide to have any drinks the drink menu looked tasty. The service here was decent. Once we were at our table we were able to order quickly, but did have to ask for a couple things like extra sauces and sides multiple times. They do cook the food for you at the table which is nice, however sometimes it did seem like the grill was a little cool which caused long wait times to eat. Overall, if you haven't tried Gogi Friends and need a Korean BBQ place to try, you aren't making a bad decision going here, but I don't think I would go out of my way to give it a try or return.

First, the food is good. Second, our waitress was very nice. However, the overall experience was ruined by the host. ....I tried to call 7 mins before our arrival to book a table for 4 and was told that we had to check in at the restaurant. OK. We arrived, signed up, and were told it would be a 15-20 minutes wait. OK. As we then waited 25 minutes, I notice 3 different groups of 4 or more people seated before us. I also overhear what sounds like the host taking reservations by phone. I approach the host to look at the sheet to see our reservation crossed out and several additional groups after us already seated too. For whatever reason, he never called our name but gave our table away to another group. I let him know, and he promised to seat us next only to make us wait another 10 minutes while seating another group who arrived after us next. When we finally got seated, they sat us right next to the bathroom in the back in probably the worst section of the restaurant (hence my low atmosphere score). No apologies were given. The host singlehandedly ruined an otherwise good night.

This Korean BBQ joint offers a solid dining experience, though it falls slightly short of perfection. Despite being super busy, especially on weekends, it's worth a visit. The extensive selection of beef and chicken dishes caters well to those avoiding pork. Standouts include the bulgogi, brisket, spicy chicken, top blade steak, and marinated steak, with a unique Hawaiian-style preparation available for pineapple lovers. However, the sides were disappointing, except for the pickled jalapenos, and the soup lacked inspiration. Service was notably slow, with lengthy wait times for orders, especially for basics like rice and eggs. Additionally, the prices were steep, even compared to other upscale competitors. Despite these drawbacks, the diverse menu is a really good thing.
