The recent Robert Foley tasting was fantastic! Everything from the setup, agenda, host, wines and, of course, Robert Foley were excellent!

Grape and Bean Tasting Room is The place to buy fine wine and experience wine culture. Super knowledgeable staff and fun environment.

I posted this on yelp- however resharing it here: It has gone so horribly downhill since the new owner and management came in. Poor management, odd renovation choices, unpleasant staff, mediocre food. As a loyal customer of over 5 years and friends with many of the staff, it's appalling to not only experience the decline in quality but also hear the way things are operating behind the scenes. The new management came in, and just four months later all of the original staff left because of the unempathetic management. Many of the new staff are downright strange and unpleasant. Food is mediocre and so often many items are missing on the menu- reflective on management. The women in the kitchen work too hard for such mistreatment. The menu hasn't changed in years and the website is outdated. The only reason for me to ever return here is because of its convenient location. I decided to write this review as I realized my favorite restaurant had gone from magnificent to TOLERABLE. I see a steady flow of customers that enjoy the wine and patio however I wish they could understand the low quality of service they are receiving in comparison to a year ago. The prior staff clearly cared about the establishment and knew the wine and food selection. Of course, learning takes time, but they do not seem to care to learn. Coffee might be the only positive recent contribution- it does taste good. John and Sophia are pleasant. I grieve for the respected establishment Grape + Bean used to be.

Great selection of (good) wines, excellent customer service. Dustin is very friendly and attentive to his customers. Location is accessible. Nice little spot to get away from the big crowds and noise to have a gathering of close friends to hangout with. Definitely recommend it.

I can’t believe i only discovered this charming neighborhood cafe and wine bar a year ago. Although the outdoor seating doesn’t look very inviting, the interior has great ambiance and is perfect for any kind of intimate get together. I’ve been here with my husband for an impromptu date and with friends as well. The wines are great and the food is delicious! My favs so far are the Cremini soup, artichoke crostini and crostini with goat cheese and tapenade. So simple but so well executed.

Enjoyed a lovely birthday lunch at this neighborhood gem. We started with a meat and cheese platter (choice of 3 or 5 selections to mix and match) followed by homemade soup and sandwiches. My husband has the duck and I had the BLT. We finished with a pecan pie to go (selections change daily). The atmosphere is cozy and quaint. A market feel with lots of wines and specialty food items to purchase. Tables in front by the wind and in the back with a large patio for warmer weather. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. We will be back!

We had a light supper here on a quiet evening. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere and staff were welcoming and helpful. The food was interesting, tasty and unusual. They had nice beers and wines. We were able to leave the car in the car park right outside. The first staff member who took our food order forgot to pass it to the kitchen but when we realised this they apologised, prepared the food without delay, and did not charge for it. We look forward to going there again.

This restaurant is just a few blocks from my daughters house. It stands by itself in residential area. The food is eclectic and outstanding. I have loved everything I have had on the menu. A varied assortment of drinks including micro brews and artisan sodas. Since it is in a residential errand expect family's with small children. If this is not to your liking you should go somewhere else. A great find.

Had dinner with a friend here one Tuesday evening. We chose the place based on it being a good meeting spot with parking. We were able to sit outside, the inside is pretty small and at the time, not much happening there. It was a little busy so we waited for a few minutes before receiving menus and water. My dining companion said her BLT was the best she'd ever had - unfortunately, I was talked into the shrimp and polenta and I was disappointed. Not wanting to complain, I just ate what I could. Several of the shrimp were so overdone that I couldn't chew them. I was pretty bummed out - again, I chose NOT to complain, so I didn't give them an opportunity to do anything for me. They have a nice rotating beer menu and this is a great spot for locals. I like that the inside has some gourmet offerings if you wanted to pack a basket for taking somewhere. I've been back for a beer only, but I plan on giving the food another try. Service is super friendly - it's a laid-back, locals haunt.

We're repeat customers here. The staff is phenomenal and clearly love this place too. Their enthusiasm, willingness to suggest items, and friendly smiles can't be beat. We love the ambience and atmosphere inside, the outside seating, and the parking lot with room enough to not worry. The relaxed feel of this cafe and wine bar is perfect for the end to a busy week. Hang out here on Friday night to catch up with friends or unwind with a glass of wine from their excellent wine selection. Add the cheese plate and truffled honey for a true delight. Do not miss this place. It has quickly become our favorite nook to escape.

I appreciated the attentive service at this neighborhood establishment. I was looking for a quick supper to go and was pleased with the expert recommendations. I loved the selection of local products, from prepared salads and cheeses to beers and wines. Would love to return and eat on the premises -- on a warm day.

Obviously good wines! Good cheese boards, salads, etc. Very nice to sit outside - peaceful. Service wasn't great.
