My kids and I usually really like Hangry Joe’s, but service was pretty poor at the location at 6480 Landsdowne Center in Alexandria. Cashier was rude, didn’t get what we ordered, took a long time to get our order (place wasn’t busy), and the tables weren’t clean. I recommend Hangry Joe’s but might be worth driving to another location until this location gets things sorted out.
I was told by the employees that the chicken is not zabiha and the certificate also says mechanical slaughter and its not hand slaughter. So please avoid if you eat zabiha

Chicken sando was so good. I got the mild and it was just enough spice to taste and not over run the flavor. Pickles were crisps and the sause was the perfect amount. It is a larger than I expected sandwich so definitely worth the 10$ I spent. My husband got the Korean wings which were flavorful but a little soggy in my opinion for a wet sauce. But the taste and chicken made up for that. Both meals the chicken itself was moist and flavored. I will definitely be back.

I have previously order from here 2 times and There was no major issues except the spice level being up 1 level. Today I ordered delivery and mistakenly ordered no seasoning so I called to order no spice instead. When my order arrived i took a bite and It was as spicy as the medium or hot level. I called to ask for an explanation and refund and the worker who picked up the phone was not being reasonable and said that it wasn’t their stores fault. After a bit of argumentation they offered to give me a discount for the next time I order but I still feel that it isn’t good enough as I had order from their store in the month of Ramadan and I needed to break my fast and my food wasn’t what I had asked for.

Orders are made-to-order, not prepared in advance.Hangry Joe's "hotness" scaling isn't the same as any other restaurant. Their mild is what others would consider hot.
I got chicken sand jr. (medium spicy) and it was SO GOOD!I also LOVE honey butter powder on fries!! Reminds me of Japanese/Korean honey butter snacks.My husband got hot wings. It has good flavor but it was really spicy!!! (Like it states on the menu lol) We will stick with medium spicy, but hot might be good if you have higher tolerance for spicy food. I just ate it yesterday and I'm already craving.. ugh
