I paid $17.54 for a salad bowl with chicken added. In comparison to Cava, it might cost me about ~$12-13 (not organic). They charge $0.60 for each topping after four free toppings.“

“I liked overall. Ordered Avocado Smash Toast, PB Toast, Charcoal Detox, Watermelon Juice and Overnight Oats Tropical. They work hard to make food but the pricing could be reasonable for the taste and quality- it appeared at least 25% higher than other places serving similar or better quality even when compared to New York. The toast was very hard to cut with a knife causing spillage across. I noted other customers facing the same and using hands to break the toast which is not great. I will definitely visit again but please fix the toast which is very hard. 4 stars this time but will be worth 5 stars if you fix the toast- not worried about paying more!!!!“

“There is a reason I've been a regular for a little over a year. When I first encountered this location, I was absolutely satisfied. The food and food presentation was exceptional; THE MATCHA BOWL WITH PEANUT DRIZZLE IS FIRE!!! The lovely ladies that work in the front are so sweet and always welcome me, regardless of being a regular. The atmosphere is clean and clear, I spend most of my remote-academic work in the location. Its like doing homework at a coffee shop... but so much better!!!“

“OMG! My favorite place for juice, smoothies, avocado toast and acai bowls now has SOUP! Just had their potato squash soup, and it was better than my homemade soup (which is also delicious). Will be visiting often this winter for soup, cappuccino and "stay away cold and flu" juices. Sooo happy to have healthy options close-by!“

“I love Acai Bowls and have had them many places. Playa Bowls has one of the best. I love the Pura Vida ( I get a banana added on). The bowls are generous and full of fruit; when you dig into the acai, there's even more fruit and delicious granola buried underneath! Perfect for a refreshing and healthy summer meal or treat!!“

“I landed here by error. I ordered arbitrary also. I was hesitant and the personnel was formal and in a hurry to take the order over the counter.
I waited 10 min for my avocado salad …. And … then the salad arrived, very generous portion with beautiful presentation.
At every bite I was happily surprised by the taste and the texture! Really good !

“Went here with plans to get a wheatgrass shot after a chaotic night. I was greeted at the counter by the manager, Antonio. He was such a delight, friendly and extremely knowledgeable of the menu. He walked me through the different items and even convinced me to get the season special, a toast with Nutella, strawberries, and coconut, that with the wheatgrass shot was exactly what the doctor ordered! Will definitely be coming back to South Block!“

“The PM team especially Shequita did such an incredible job. I work in hospitality helping manage and oversee a hotel and I know how hard of a job serving and catering to others needs can be. It can be a very thankless job. When I ordered there were certain ingredients that were not prepped… Shequitas first response was “i need to chop a few apples, allow me a moment” a lot of people in similar circumstances may reference that they are out or try and get someone to order something different but she was willing to go the extra mile to make it correct. Due to the time it took when I got to the register she immediately offered $2 off. She anticipated my needs and she truly shined! Durrell was working right along side her as well and was helpful and taking care of others so that Shequita could focus on my order. The PM shift is hard. Just a huge thank you to all that help take care of others. It’s the team that continue to be a huge reason why I come back to sweet greens and allowing team members to take the initiative and be empowered with tools to fix needs can make all the difference! Sweetgreen on 14th St, NW was a perfect pit stop for my tried and true warm harvest bowl salad combo with roasted chicken & sweet potatoes with shredded kale, fresh apples, roasted almonds, and goat cheese, all dressed with a balsamic vinaigrette.

This location is convenient, quick and consistent.

It’s on a busy strip with peak times mid-day, weekends and evenings right as people are wrapping up for the day.

Sweetgreen offered seasonal items, which are nice to try from time to time, but somehow, I always find my way back to my tried and true warm harvest bowl.“

I started to come to Mr. Dunston’s store early last summer a trip provided by my boyfriend and I just can’t get enough! He knows that I deal with a lot of herbs, healing, holistics, health and wellness, hair growth and so much more! This was a great treat to me and this is my spot for most of my needs! I am vegetarian/ pescatarian transforming into vegetarian/ vegan. Mr. Dunston is a very humble man! I always order via the Sweet Green app. Whenever I walk in to pickup my order, Katie and her team are always so friendly and instantly welcome me with big smiles, my order is always prepared and ready when I get there and it’s always made correctly. “The food was really good, but pretty expensive. The line to order food was pretty long, so I recommend using their online ordering menu and just go find a place to sit rather than waiting in line. They had options for most dietary restrictions but the options weren’t many of your diet is highly restricted. One thing that stuck out was their pizzas had an option for gluten free cauliflower crust, and vegan cheese.

Wheelchair accessibility: There were no steps to get into the building or into the restaurant. There is an elevator to other floors in the main building not in the restaurant itself.“
