We had a party of eight but could not make a reservation on open table for anything more than six. I tried calling the restaurant directly and they said because it was Father's Day they could not make any reservations for any larger parties. So we made two separate reservations for parties of four and asked to be seated close to each other And they said they would do what they can. When they seated us, our children were across the room so their father could not sit with his children. There were two open tables that seated eight right next to us and when I asked if we could be moved there, we were told no because they were reserved for larger parties. I explain to the floor manager. The issue of not being able to call Lynn to make a larger party reservation and she said there was nothing she could do about that. I asked two more times as the tables stayed empty while we sat there waiting to order and again was told there was nothing she could do about that. By the time we left the restaurant, one table of eight just sat down for service, and the other table of eight was broken down into three different tables. Those tables were still empty. As a chef by tree, I know how the industry works and to not be able to accommodate people when clearly they were able to was a sad disappointment. Customer service, super sees food, quality, and ambience.

We went for brunch. The chicken was great, but not many chicken options on the brunch menu. The chicken and waffles were delicious and the portion was humongous. When we order this next time we will share. The cocktails were delicious and generous.

Loved Hen Quarter! The food was great - 1/4 chicken, mac and cheese, and collard greens. My friend enjoyed her meal too (1/4 chicken, mashed potatoes and green beans) as well as the Lavender Butterfly drink. I also recommend the Peach Sweet Tea with the vanilla cream. It wasn't super sweet but just the right amount. Alex was friendly and accommodating to us - thanks a bunch!
