Let me start with I wanted to try the Green Olive. If you want your standard mill of the run buffet then this is the place for you. Most of the food was ok nothing to really celebrate about, but the hibachi grill was absolutely the best part of the whole place! If you want good hibachi then come there

Delicious. Best Chinese Buffet in the DMV. BBQ spare ribs are Awesome. Cute and friendly waitresses also.

So good! I'm usually skeptical of buffets to be honest, but this buffet was a pleasant surprise. They have a large and very good selection of Chinese and Taiwanese cuisine including dim sum. They also have bubble tea, hibachi, and sushi --which was being made fresh when I went. The food was delicious. I would definitely go back and bring friends.

This place is almost only sea food and everything else they have is not good. The only thing I enjoyed when eating was the watermelon. Maybe it's because I don't eat seafood but I doubt it because everyone who got seafood only took one bite. It's up to you if you want to come here but I wouldn't recommend.

Beef tripe is probably my favorite dish here! Very delicious food and the restaurant is clean.

I was very excited to arrive at this place! When you walk in, you see an expansive sushi area, many other buffet tables and smiling staff! Also, the place was maybe 1/3 full so there were customers but it wasn't bustling. However, some of the experience was marred by food being cold. A lot of hot dishes like general tsos, sweet and sour chicken, stuffed crab, etc were under heat lamps but for some reason they were cold. This was disappointing. The sushi was ok. Not bad and not great. I liked that it was all kept cold, purposely. The eel was alright but I didn't really care for the salmon roll (flavorless). The star of the meal was the hibachi area. The gentleman making the food was very friendly and he made each meal in under 5 minutes. I chose some noodles, vegetables, shrimp and beef. This, clearly, was piping hot. In a good way! The desserts were plentiful. I tried some sesame balls (yum), chocolate cake (tasty) and cookies (delightful!) Other positives, our drinks were constantly refilled. The cold shrimp was good and fresh. In my opinion, the only reason to run back to this place is the hibachi noodles, cold seafood, and dessert. Is that worth the price tag? Maybe, if you eat your fill of hibachi. So, in terms of buffets, there is a broad and surprising range of food options, which is nice, but food needs to be hot. This is just basic stuff. I would give the overall meal 3 stars. Hibachi alone gets 4, hands down!

I am not sure how i feel about this place. I've been eating healthy all 2019& my gf wanted Chinese so i found this spot. Idk if my tastebuds are turned off by the unhealthy but i didn't like none of it. It wasn't hot hot but it was good enough to sit and enjoy if u like warm temp. They had a nice variety and kept the buffet clean. I like the ice cream choices as i Love a good ice cream sandwich. For $14 it's worth a try as like i said my tastebuds are just a little off.

I was pleasantly surprised. After the change in ownership, many of the dishes stayed the same but some got much better. There is now a pho station which serves really good soup. Seriously, it's better than most sit down Vietnamese restaurants now. Their soup has a rich bone broth with the taste of roasted herbs and spices. On their selection board they don't let you get many toppings in your bowl and tell you to get just one meat per bowl. But if you tip the guy a dollar first, he'll put whatever you want in. You can also raid the stir fry station and add in yummies after you get your soup as well. The shaomai was chopped to perfection. Meat not too small or big. Better than some dim sum restaurants. Sushi was also very good and fresh. For a modestly busy buffet this was surprising. They have a guy come in and make more but not too much more when the need arises so the sushi stays fresh. For lunch they had salmon, tuna, and well prepared crab stick rolls/maki. For $9 and change lunch-time you get all you can eat when this is the price of one a half rolls at many places with comparable sushi. I'll be coming here with my husband on a semi regular basis. For me the only big let down is the location. If you're in the area or have more time- it's definitely worth a visit!

This is the best of all buffets in in the DMV area, the food quality is amazing, price is 13.5 adults and 6.5$ for kids. It worth's every penny I spent here. The staff is very good food is fresh and high quality cooking hope they dont change so we can keep coming every week

Buffets are dime a dozen as we all are very well aware, but few are actually decent enough to be worthy of a good review. This buffet does mostly right. I had a chance to taste test pretty much everything it had to offer, and it's delightfully a lot. And I do mean a lot. It's practically endless. For it being a buffet, it was surprisingly good. Most buffets offer overly dry, overtly cooked, and no real taste behind them. This one is definitely different. The food is actually quite decent. Even the sushi was decent. The hibachi could've been better as well as the fried chicken. Over all I was quite pleased with this particular buffet. To be honest, I would love the chance to go to it again. They do charge for soda, which in VA is rare.(something that almost all MD buffets do) but of course water is no charge. There's also plenty of seating. No shortage of that. If you're a buffet kinda person, this one is worth your visit. So why only three stars? Because let's face it, it's still a buffet and absolutely no buffet deserves five stars. There has to be wait staff to deserve that. At least that.

As of fall 2018 this is the best Chinese Buffet in the area. There is another golden buffet in bailey's crossroads but that one is a 2 out of 5 compared to this one. Maybe this one is better because it's new, but they have way more selection and also the food seems to be more fresh. They even have a soup bar which the other location doesn't have. I don't know why they would operate under the same name and have different offerings. If you had to go to a Chinese buffet around DC and you have a car, this one is worth the trip. Otherwise the location is horrendous and way too far from anything, which is why it gets a 4 and not a 5. As far as buffets go, you can't do much better.

This is the best Chinese buffet in the DC area as of this writing. The location is a far drive, around 1 hour each way from Rockville but it is good enough I am willing to come back. In fact, I've been back three times. Some of the items are so good, it is close enough to the quality at what you'll order at a specialty restaurant. For example, the pho broth is similar to what you'll order at a pho restaurant. Not as intense of a flavor, but close enough. And certainly better than any buffet restaurant in the area that offers a noodle/pho bar. Same thing with the Shu Mai. It is close enough to the Shu Mai at a dim sum restaurant and way better than the ones offered by any buffet restaurant in the area. The crabs, while not whole, are not blue crabs, but a bigger and meatier type. The restaurant is new and clean. They even have white pepper in the pepper shakers unlike other buffet restaurants that use black pepper.

Some of the food is pretty good and the restaurant seems clean--lots of fried food. Sushi is slightly below average but they are trying. They will cook food for you here as well. If you are looking for an inexpensive buffet this works for 3 stars.
