Service is pathetically slow at the best of times and sometimes you never get service here at all. Glassware is wonky. Order a shot of Eagle Rare or Pappe and you just might get it in a plastic cup; I kid you not on this. Overall poor execution in concept as a high end whiskey bar and as a beer garden. Fail

The new manager of this establishment came up to our table while playing trivia on a Thursday night and accused someone at our table of “elbowing” one of their bartenders on purpose and were asked to leave, what was not mentioned was the gentleman who “elbowed” the bartender (which by any means is not what happened) was helping his wife who is recovering from a life threatening surgery into the restaurant, and if the bartender is unable to clearly see and get out of the way of someone with a physical accommodation they should be working elsewhere. We have been attending Hops and Shine every Thursday for almost 2 years and we will not be back after this event. It is very sad to see that a place that we visited every week and enjoyed, has such disrespectful staff.

In short: good comfort food, mediocre service, nice patio with kids toys & dog bowls, sketchy part of the neighborhood. I would come back for takeout if I was in the area but it's not a nice part of the neighborhood to spend time in. At least the outside back patio makes it feel better!

Ordered food that never came. Ordered water 4 times before that came. Drinks took 20 minutes to come. And it was not busy as there were only 4-5 tables there. I’m not usually one to rate a place poorly but it was just a really bad experience that wasn’t worth it.

This quaint Pub offers fair prices on beer and delicious sandwiches. knocked one star off of food as the draft beer is flat. Who wants to drink a flat beer much less pay for it. Still leave them with a net four stars and recommend you get the can or bottled beer of which they have a good selection

I'm doing 3 stars here just for the fact that the area this place is in, that place should have been busier, even for a Monday. Anyway, it wasn't a bad experience other than mediocre food...BUT their collab home restaurant collaborate beers are the best thing going for them. And the bartnder was friendly and, the cook was fantastic at getting my food quick.

I found this place on Google yesterday and decided to go in and see what it was about. I was not disappointed at all. Me and my friend had a BBQ pulled pork sandwich and a steak n cheese sandwich and both were freaking delicious and fulfilling. We also had their peach moonshine it was delicious on the rocks and it was delicious as a margarita. I will return often for the food, the drinks and the staff. I didn't catch our bartender/server's name but she was amazing and very informative.
Really good food. We ordered the patty melt and fish tacos. Both tasted great. They show a lot of sporting events on Sunday and there's seating at the bar.
