I have been in the DMV for decades and it took me until today to find this takeout place that had similar to NYC.Food:The wings were the old school fried style that I love crispy, but still tender.Yay, pork egg rolls in actual egg roll wrappers not spring roll wrappers!Hot and Sour soup that's tangy and did not skimp on the ingredients.Moo Sho was delightful with perfectly cut/shredded veg and meat.General Tso's, I only wish I could have added more broccoli for an up charge but that's hard to do when Doordash does not give you the option. Super tasty otherwise and I will add my additional broccoli.

This place is 30 minutes from my house, I have always bought very good food but this day I want to say that it was very bad, I repeated what I wanted twice to the person who took my order but he still didn't care, he gave me something different, I waited approximately 5 minutes if not a little more and the food was given to me cold, he left it and it disappeared, I feel upset, bad service this time. This is my local Chinese takeout spot. Food is reliably tasty and fresh. My only complaint is that sometimes calling over you get someone that really can’t answer your question and I’ve been left wondering if my order did go through.

I’ve been looking for a Chinese carry out ever since I've moved to Virginia, and Ho's doesn't disappoint. Their service is great, the food is delicious, and their menu has tons of choices. I think the best bang for your buck is the triple delight, their sesame beef is also delicious! The best part is that you can get as many sauce packets as you need! As long as it's not abused I hope they keep it that way. Parking is tight, I've had to park on the street a couple of times. I've also only ordered for carry out, however they promote they have delivery.

The staff at Ho's is friendly and willing to make things that are not on the menu. Unfortunately, a friendly staff is not enough to offset the mediocre food. The kung pao was overly salty, the combination fried rice was kind of vanilla , and the chicken lo mein also lacked flavor. In addition, the soups were a letdown, although I will say the egg rolls are tasty and well sized. The price and service at Ho's are big pluses; I just wish they served better food. Maybe I'll give it another chance at some point, but I am no hurry to go back. I'd say 2.5 stars and will round up to a 3 because of the exemplary service and friendly staff. Here's hoping you enjoy their food more than I do.

I called to order from this location and the woman tried to over charge. I had the order completed in my online cart but needed to customize so I called. She then quoted me over the showing price and tried to tell me the website wasn't updated. Now if I was to order regularly online the price would have been cheaper. They need to do better

THIS WHAT HAPPENED. I ordered wonton soup, egg rolls, and combo fried rice. I got home ate one egg roll.. it was good. Had a little wonton soup.. it was too heavy on the thick wonton wrapper .. so I ate only one.. (it wasn't a deal breaker)... my PROBLEMwas the FRIED RICE. The RICE was undercooked. .. straight up crunchy on the inside. Sooo-- I called. I told them. I was told -- my manager will call you back. 30 mins later-- NO CALL BACK. So OK. I called back -- to someone telling me -- the manager will call you back. ... I live 8 mins away -- so I'm p'd off now... I pack it all up to take it back. I get there and they don't listen to me. I DON'T say the quiet part out loud... HOW CAN THIS TYPE OF RESTAURANT UNDERCOOK RICE!!! RICE!!... rice.... So, I just asked for a refund. They offered me $3 back from my $20 order. Because I ate an egg roll and had crunched my way through 1/3 of a cup of undercooked rice. Oh .. and I ate one wonton of 3. Are you kidding me? I'm not gonna tell you what I had to say at that point because I'm already repenting for it. -- I got most of my money back. $15 of it. This is the thing. I am a restaurant person. Mistakes happen.. I get it more than most... but, all of this couldHave been avoided -- IF their --tee customer service and interaction were better. If you say you're gonna call me back-- call me back. Not tell me you'll call me back again after I've already waited 30mins. AND once I get there-- you look at me like I'm trying to get over on you when I'm telling you YOUR RICE IS UNDERCOOKED!... a simple call back... and a promise to take care of me next time would have avoided the ugly confrontation & review. Don't waste your money there. They don't get it. REALLY, everything she said in Chinese to the cashier... it mad rMe feel uncomfortable and the offer of $3 back on a busted ass meal (that I'd eaten less than 10%) was an insult. NEVER AGAIN. Don't go there.
