Good service and beautiful presentation. However, taste wise, it was lacking. Probably won't be back. And I wouldn't recommend to anyone looking for good sushi. Ube fries were good! And Thai iced tea is hard to mess up really. Spider roll was really disappointing. And the volcano roll wasn't all that great.

I went here with a friend about two months ago. The food was good, the service could've been better. The server gave me the salad and miso soup that was supposed to go to my friend (and didn't tell us until after I was almost done with it, and didn't offer to bring him another one, or even apologize) and my friend got the chicken instead of the pork tonkatsu that he ordered.
ETA-it wasn't busy at all, there was only one other person in the restaurant other than my friend and myself

I am a Japanese person who came to the United States for work. I thoroughly enjoyed Asakusa ramen, gyoza, and California roll. In particular, the quality of the ramen was very high, and the taste was close to that of Japanese ramen.
I really enjoyed eating here for lunch! The sashimi is fresh and flavorful, the Asakusa Tonkotsu Chashu ramen is delicious and my favorite is the Ichiban Bun! Highly recommend visiting this place!

This was the 2nd time dining in at Ichiban. The food is fantastic and the service is amazing. Gary and Ling are the proud owners and ensure your experience is perfect. Ling makes the ramen broth from hand and Gary came and sat down with us to just chat. You don’t find this type of service and care these days. Ling gave us complimentary mochi and a box of macaroons. My parents had a family business in Nebraska and I know how much heart, work and money goes into making a business successful. I will definitely be back… next week! 😊
