Absolutely delicious food. The vibe is modern, the waitstaff and service is amazing. Ashok was our server and he was absolutely wonderful. Attentive and helpful. The food is divine. We went with our staples of Rogan josh and butter chicken to “compare” with other Indian places locally and this place far surpasses in every way. The blend of spices in the food are traditional yet unique. Please ask for Ashok for your server, he is amazing!!

We held a lunch party to celebrate my husband's 80th birthday and were very satisfied. We had a large bright room all to ourselves, wonderful food, very good wine selections, and helpful friendly service. What more could one ask? I had the tandoori-rubbed salmon and found it perfectly cooked. Absolutely loved the chickpeas and mushrooms that accompanied the salmon.

Really good neighborhood place, service is really good, they take a bunch of pride in the restaurant - a little expensive but overall great food and great service.

All the foods and desserts that we’ve ordered were great. However milk cake was too sweet and we couldn’t finish it. The restaurant was clean and very nice. Ideal for families with kids, for group of friends, or even business meetings.

No idea why they changed the restaurant? New owners? The old menu was far superior to the new selection. DO NOT take the old reviews as they were for the old place.

Excellent food and service. Family-friendly yet classy enough for a lunch or dinner date. Updated and modern interior. Craft cocktails are outstanding, especially the spicy margarita. Delicious small plates and generous portions from the entree menu. I’ve tried most items on the menu and have never been disappointed. Love having such a wonderful restaurant within walking distance.

Formerly London Curry House, this place is an absolute hidden gem in an odd corner of Alexandria.Founded by a chef who lived his childhood in Nepal, Indochin mixes the best flavors ofIndian and Chinese cuisine. The cocktail menu is extravagant (get the Indian Mule, trust me), and the food menu is perfect. We got the chicken biryani for 2 (pictured) and it was more than enough for us, plus multiple rounds of leftovers. The service is perfect too! Definitely give this place a visit!

The appetizer chili chicken was delicious and spicy, the way I like it. Chicken dumplings and spring roles were an acquired taste for me. My mom liked the pompano fish and I really liked the butter chicken.Try this place when you have the opportunity.

Wow! What an amazing experience! I have not eaten in a restaurant in months, but have been wanting to try Indochen and was hosting a West Coast friend for dinner. The restaurant's website states that this is Indo-Chinese comfort food. I have never eaten that type of cuisine before, but I will again many times at Indochen (and I hope you will, too -- I need them to stay open!)There's ample parking, and plenty of tables were available. There is a large dispenser of hand sanitizer when you first walk in and all employees were masked throughout service. We were greeted warmly and seated promptly. We ordered a couple rounds of drinks and a ton of small plates to start. The Chennai Express and Aged Manhattan cocktails were so good! We then had the Kale Chat, Samosa, Sesame Tofu, Vegetable Manchurian, Chicken Dumplings, and Fried Sardines. Everything was out of this world and service was stellar and consistent throughout! We then ordered a couple of big and shared plates (we're greedy and like to try a bit of everything) -- Veggie Biryani Pot, Butter Chicken, and a side of Garlic Naan; Gulab Jamun for dessert. I'm in love! Again, everything was delicious; I could not stop eating! I will definitely frequent this restaurant and hope you will, too!

Edit: I really do love this place, their service, and their food. (I wish they would bring back this delicious spinach-based dish they used to have, though!) I am really happy that they reached out to make things right with a mistake they made, and am happy to update my rating to one they deserve!

Indochen (Formerly London Curry House) is one of our favorite local restaurants. The new management is amazing!....and the menu, which changes regularly is delicious. They kept a number of our old favorites, but have also enticed us to try some new things too. The interior is beautiful as well and the perfect escape away from the city life around us. If you haven't already, you have to try to Momos.

We enjoy take out from our wonderful neighborhood eatery. They have such an interesting menu with so many excellent choices that we keep going back for our favorite comfort food. So, take a walk on the wonderful side and grab a meal soon.
