Small place with a variety of typical American breakfasts and lunches. Reasonable price and good quality.

Such a cute little hole in the wall. The owners are the ones that work serving and cooking and it’s so nice. We felt so welcomed and comfortable being here. The food is something you could just do at home, but that’s exactly what we liked about it. Overall great experience and we would be back.

Parking: There’s street parking all over.

Taking into account price, service, quality of food, and quality of people. This is without a doubt Alexandria’s best breakfast place and a general gem of a restaurant. I have nothing but laudatory things to say about the food and people that run this place.
It feels like a shared space for many locals despite the limited seating which is probably the only drawback and it’s a drawback because people understand the quality of this place. Creates a nice feedback loop. I haven’t ordered anything from here that has left me disappointed.

Small dining space. Water was not cold/iced. Only street parking. Over easy eggs were overcook. Hash browns were delicious, very crispy. Payment felt rushed.

Stopped in for breakfast and had a great meal. Servers were nice and friendly. Food was super quick and tasted great. Pancakes are amazing!

Very small inside area. Maybe 5-6 tables. Will definitely be on my list for future visits.

Best habachi in old town. They’re only open on weekends but they are so worth it. Thank you chef K!

I don’t usually leave reviews for restaurants but this breakfast was perfect and seems like it was cooked with love. I don’t live in the area but I will definitely make a trip to eat this again.

Great french toast, bacon, and eggs at Jack's Place. I wish I could give them a 4.5 instead of 4 overall because it hit the spot for a hole in the wall style diner that did a solid job with breakfast. I would return to try the pancakes and other breakfast items.

Nestled in the heart of town, Jack's Place offers a delightful breakfast experience that feels like a warm hug from an old friend. This quaint restaurant boasts a charming ambiance that invites you to sit down and stay awhile. Upon entering, I was greeted by the owner, whose genuine friendliness and eagerness to engage in conversation added a personal touch that made the meal even more enjoyable. The breakfast itself was nothing short of perfection. The eggs were cooked exactly to my liking, with a skillful touch that provided them with a silky, just-right texture. Accompanying the eggs, the bacon could be customized to how crispy or tender you prefer, and it was cooked precisely to order, offering a satisfying crunch with every bite.A standout feature was their homemade sourdough bread. It was freshly baked, with a perfect crust that's slightly chewy yet tender on the inside, making it a fantastic complement to the meal. The bread not only served as a testament to the restaurant's commitment to quality but also elevated the entire breakfast experience.Jack's Place proves to be more than just a place to eat; it's a little retreat where food is made with care, and the atmosphere is as comforting as the food. For anyone looking for a cozy spot to enjoy a perfectly cooked breakfast and a friendly chat, Jack's Place is a must-visit.

Food from Jack's place is always fresh, made to order, and absolutely delicious. I've had breakfast and lunch items, including the omelet, breakfast panini, and the cheessteaks. All amazing! The portions are big and good quality for the price. The service is great as well and the place is clean. While it can be hard to find a spot to sit on the weekends, you can always place apick-upp order and have a picnic in one of the parks nearby. I haven't had their pancakes, but I've seen people order them and they smell and look tasty!

From out of town looking for a good breakfast place. Found Jack’s place online. Surprised when we went in and there was only 4 tables. Breakfast was excellent- service was awesome. Pancakes were fluffy and hot, omelette had lots of stuff in it. We will be back next time we are in town!
