I'm not sure why this place only has 4 stars. The service was super quick, the food and coffee are delicious, and it's a nice cozy spot for a break (with lots of tables!) They even have board games that you can use while enjoying your coffee.

We stoped by to have lunch today. Two sandwiches and a large mango smoothie. All very good. Miss the smoothies from Hawaii and this was the next best thing. Place is clean and pretty. Unfortunately there was a fellow patron on speakerphone that tuned the vibe. Service was pleasant and quick. Counter service only. Place filled up quickly after we arrived at noon.

While the food and drinks are good, I wasn't quite pleased with the service. I've been there a few times and the service was good however this once incident didn't sit right with me.My partner and I decided to get our drinks from another place and food here with the intent to sit down and eat here. The problem with this is that they didn't tell me until after I paid for my food that they didn't allow outside food. I found that very scummy because had we known that, we would've left...
The service was terrible. The younger Asian lady that was not the person to take our order was extremely rude and condescending. She placed our food on the counter then proceeded to snatch our drink away asking “Is this yours , is this yours?” After we repeatedly said yes. She rolled her eyes and walked away with an attitude. We let it be. The Middle Easter lady that took our order was fairly pleasant and spoke up for me when I asked for assistance. We asked if the sandwiches could be cooked a little longer since we looked at the sandwiches before eating them. We noticed they were undercooked the bacon on the BLT was still raw and the cheese was not fully melted on the turkey, egg, and cheese. I am pregnant and can not consume raw food that’s why we asked if it cooked be cook a little more. The young Asian lady said “No that’s how the sandwich are cooked , it’s already cooked . Then she processed to argue with my grandmother about it. The Vietnamese Coffee was also very bitter and slightly sour almost as if the milk was sour or old. We didn’t want to make a scene so my grandmother said to gather our things and leave. We went to the car and I came back inside asking for the manager’s information or owners information since the phone line hasn’t worked for the store in a little while. As I’m asking for the information the young Asian lady calls the owner / manager and tells her side of the story. Tells me I can’t get the information and to reach out via the email on the sign in the front. I say thank you and leave. We’ve been to this place so many times before and have not encountered such trouble. We’ve placed our order over the phone, and ordered in the store numerous times and never experienced this. My grandmother comes here every Friday and eats at the store that is the first time that she has had to deal with such disrespect. We were very upset and dissatisfied with the underwhelming service. We will not be back because of how the young lady acted and treated us.

I am a usual at the 7696 Richmond Highway location in Alexandria Va the woman at the front counter racially profiled me you take my money but don't like my skin i would never recommend this place if it was the last on earth the treatment was disgusting and i want my black people to stay woke

I was disappointed with their cuban sandwich, which is to say, they should not name it a cuban sandwich, when it's basically cold ham and cheese on toasted bread. After I ordered it and tried it, I brought this to the attention of an employee, and she was very curt and said this is how the owner wants it. I also ordered a mango smoothie, it wasn't bad, just not what one would traditionally consider a smoothie.

Spacious very clean n fast service ?.Updated August 15 2023 I went in nearly 40 minutes before closing and they said I couldn't get a get any hot drink because they shut down and cleaned up since no customers came in. They have also messed up simple drinks. The service is definitely slipping with one particular young man that is always on shift when I go in.
